F it we tank next season for the '13 stacked draft.

If the Magic trade Dwight, they could be stuck for years in the Steve Francis middle of the road team. For years. . .

This team's love for Jameer will be their undoing.

Ellis and Nelson back court? Goodness.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if it's more like this actually:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=8xkfomp

Exactly what NOR wants (young talent, not lengthy contracts). GSW gets their big man, and Hedo is more productive than Biedrins for them on similar contract. He would also fit decently into that system I feel. They also get Q, a defensive veteran leader. Perhaps we throw in a pick to them as well.

If we are dumping Hedo's contract.. it's almost worth it. Dwight will have two of the guys from his wish list in the starting line up. We will be a fast paced team again.. defense is going to suffer. But I say pull the trigger. Hedo's contract gone, a guy who can create his own shot, DWright is a solid player, and Dwight has no excuses if he leaves.

One thing to keep in mind, we can't afford to take two weeks to adjust to a trade like we did last year.. will be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm sure Stan is pulling what hair he has left out.

We'd be left with 1 SF so that wouldn't be our last deal if it would ever happen

Jameer | Duhon | Ish
Ellis | JRich | Wafer | Liggins
Wright | ??????? | ???????
Davis | Clark | Harper
Howard | BIedrins

Our second Unit would be horrible though ..

Its just shocking how much Monta reminds me of Francis in his golden years.

Not trying to troll, but why would GS do this deal. From the magics perspective on paper it seems like a great deal, but I think its not wise to try to swing a deal in hopes that D12 resigns. As an outsider looking in, I think Dwight is as good as gone. If anything you trying to trade Dwight for the best package you can get while pawning off J-Rich and Turk at the same time.

JJ and Anderson I think are actually the rebuilding pieces you want to keep. They are both highly efficient players and are the kind of guys that will never bring back the same value in trade than they do to the team.

Monta sounds like a great piece to get, but the problem is that he will guarantee the Magic a fringe play-off team with a 1st round exit 5 years in a row. Not the path you guys want to go down.

Same thing happened in Toronto with Chris Bosh.

We are dramatically upgrading the athleticism of the team with this trade... I actually semi like the idea of a Jameer Monta back court.. Jameer can play more like a 2 if Ellis keeps his assist number up.

He first said trade was on the verge of happening...to it is not immient. and know he is saying other garbage that makes u feel like he just threw this out there to make a story and have people talk about him....SORRY THIS IS NOT HAPPENING. He is a joke

For the record, I agree w/ any Nets fans that believe that this could be a play to get the Nets to up their offer for Dwight, absolutely

good god this guy is unbelievable! he is doing this to get hits and make headlines. i don't believe we are close to a deal. GS will shoot down this rumour again

Plz tell me magic fans are giving this S.O.B hell for this on twitter!
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I have no clue how this framework would actually get filled in with value, but I could see GST really like a Curry|Redick back court and NOH really liking a piece like Anderson. Also, you have to consider that by trading for Hedo they are actually trading for guaranteed lottery bound seasons for the duration of his contract. We all know how valuable lottery picks are, Hedo's value is through the roof.

No way. Not giving up JJ + Ryan. Take BBD or JRich then we can talk.
