i think i am just gonna keep making the point that trading dwight or letting him walk will make no real difference if the goal is the NBA finals.

Seems possible. And frankly, I DO believe that Alex is doing everything possible to keep Dwight. I just don't think the trading partner are out there right now (after the season probably, but not this week) and Dwight won't commit no matter what.

So ship him to LA, IMHO. I'm sold, go get Bynum and whatever else the Lakers will throw in, and let's all move on to the 'will Bynum re-sign' discussions that we get to have all next year.

You are correct, but as constructed we would be lucky to get past the Hawks.

Magic should shift gears, and see if they can get the Bucks to bite on an S-Jax/Hedo swap to get out from Hedo's contract.

 You realize you're talking about the best team in the NBA, right? You think they're going to blow up the roster that got them there?

Well the chess pieces are Deng,Noah,Boozer,First round pick from the Bobcats. Now all these won't be included, kind of hinges on taking hedo or not taking him. And realize, that bobcat pick is very valuable. 2016 non protected, yes far way away. But good lord the Bobcats blow, Bulls are nervous the pick could end up like being that 2nd pick the pistons had from the grizzles in the loaded 2003 draft.

The Bulls deal is dead. Stop talking about it. The Bulls won't pull the trigger without assurances from Dwight he'd re-sign, which has hasn't given. And will not give, because it's a total crock that he cares about winning. If he did, Chicago and OKC would be his choices.

That and we're committing to a team that wasn't good enough to win more than one game against the Heat in the ECF, except we would have Jameer instead of MVP Rose. So, ummm, yeah.

I can't wait until late Thursday and Friday to listen to you all when nothing major happens.

Because, nothing is what will happen. Otis truly likes this team and Ellis is not going to get Dwight to commit by Thursday. Maybe Opt In at best.

This is my prediction and Martins is just backing it up with PR campaign.
