if the Bulls go that route then the new CBA looks to slowly be making an impact. sounds like they could value the depth of Asik + Gibson on smaller contracts than Noah on his big $10M deal. and if the Grizz go ahead with a deal for Gay so they can keep Speights and Mayo, then the CBA will definitely be having an effect.

My guess is Austin Rivers.

They also had a conversation with Harrison Barnes at the NBA Combine, but I doubt they get a pick that high.

Dion Waiters could also be in the area they're looking to move into.

The Bulls could pull a Spurs and tank next year with Rose out, then get a high pick and Rose back the following year, then win a championship

Rivers and Barnes could be a couple of solid picks for the Bulls, especially since they'll need someone to fill the scoring gap with Rose out for a large part of next season. i reckon Rivers could actually step right into that role and keep the team afloat for most of the season, since Thibs has shown that he can get by with CJ Watson and John Lucas. and with Watson being a FA, they probs won't want to spend big to bring him back.

Marcin Gortat would be pretty useful as a trade chip right about now...

why? he is styill owed 28 million over 2 years and the ONLY need he fills for us is perimeter defense. he can't create for himself, let alone others, and he isnt really supposed to be a 2nd or 3rd option... he would be basically useless on this team.

people, we need fast, athletic guards that can create... not another overpaid small forward

Deng (to me) is a lot like J Rich. No thanks.

Now that I know about his contract, I don't want him. Wanted him because he is a good player.

Had this page saved as a favorite. Did not go to the main page. Thought everything was going in the speculation thread.. Guess that's what I get for assuming... Lol

Anybody think this trade might work?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=7smnt4d

Bulls - Get JJ (who they were obv interested in) + BBD could replace Noah as their center, we all saw what numbers BBD put up at the C slot when Dwight went down, on half the contract Noah is on.

Hawks - Finally get the "real" C they are looking for so they can slot Horford at the 4, that's a really really solid front court tied down for the next 4 years or so

Magic - Get another athletic "star" and BFF for Dwight in JSmoov. Could start at the 3 and re-sign Ryno or start at the 4 and make Ryno either a trade chip or a great backup.

I like that trade, a lot, for Atl and Orl. Not so sure about Chicago. I'd peg the value at Noah .50¢, JSmooth .50¢, JJ .25¢, Baby .25¢

No way Chicago deals Noah for BBD and JJ. BBD is no Noah replacement.
Asik would start at center and they already have Taj and Boozer at PF.
If they move Noah they will likely get back a good pick an expiring and a young (cheap) prospect.

Wonder if throwing in an un guaranteed hedo for boozer would entice them.

Wow, Bulls are (Please Use More Appropriate Word)! Noah? Really? I guess a Batum and 6th pick for Noah and Deng would be a good deal for both teams.

We really don't have anything the Bulls would seriously want for Noah other then Dwight.Deng is an overpaid defensive specialist. Why throw money at him when a Michael Pietrius does the same thing on the cheap?

I think a couple teams in the league could make a play for JRICH. Pheonix, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Boston... not sure we'd get the better end of a deal though, best scenario would be a salary dump. JJ's non guarantee contract and Ryan are our two best trade assets. Baby is tradeable especially with his post season but I think its more likely we move Anderson on draft night and give BBD the PF position.

Question about salarys 2013/2014. Is Duhon and Hedo's contracts both non guaranteed? That would make them attractive at the trade deadline.

Only player we could get of chicago is boozer. Chicago is looking to shed salary and get young players and picks. Something like noah to the kings for #5 and filler or deng for calderon+torontos pick...
