Howard wondered to Hennigan why offers on table w/ Nets and Lakers prior to Joe Johnson and Steve Nash deals were rejected, source says.

Because they sucked, that's why.

Why have this meeting at all? So it can be broadcast over every news outlet that your star player will never sign another contract with you again? That looks real good to prospective free agents. Whose brilliant g.d. idea was it to have this meeting?

Agreed -- Otis left him a booby trapped mess!

A vision to continue/rebuild is not a single off-season deal.

A source familiar with the Rockets says they're holding off a couple days on signing Lamb. Basically saying "want him? Trade us now then"

Let's do K-Mart/Parsons/D-Mo/Lamb/Picks ASAP

Please.

I would do that deal in a heartbeat, but we have to wait until August 5th. Is Houston willing to wait and are they going to make Lamb suffer with no money?

yeah, so we are going to get less from HOU now. Probably Lamb/KMart/Parsons/Patterson and 1 pick. This blows.

What are the rules abt trades if LAL signs Bynum to an extension soon? Is there a waiting period? 6 months? 1 year?

B. What in the HELL did the Magic organization do to piss Dwight off so much?? I really would love to know. There has got to be so much more then what we know. If there isn't then I just don't understand why he is so against resigning with the Magic. If that were the case why did he sign the extension???

None of this makes any sense whatsoever. I just want it to end and at this point will take a bad deal to get it over with.

To me, the breaking point must have been when SVG spoke out and wasn't fired immediately.

That is what I would think too except for the fact he SIGNED the extension. It is absolutely ridiculous that he signed the extension and spoke of some loyalty and THEN decides he will NEVER sign another contract with the Magic again. What is WRONG with this guy??? Maybe HE is the reason we could never get over the hump. He is not a star player a team can build around.

I wish there was just a simple explanation that could make sense of it. I really don't want to dislike Dwight, but he and is freaking people, make is so damn hard.

Lamb/Donatas/TOR is what I want but HOU will prob threaten that if we don't do the trade now that doesn't include D-Mo, they will go ahead and sign Lamb....doh!

If Howard gets to free agency in '13 without having been traded to Nets or Lakers, Dallas is overwhelming favorite to sign him, sources say.

Yep. it gets depressing listening to some people in here. It's a bipolar forum. Being that FAGan is the leak, of course he is going to slant it in Cowards favor. With that said I trust Henny will do the best for this organization. Get rid of this fooking loser that has never won anything, and whom I would not trust to lead a boy scout troop never mind an NBA team. Get Mont and Lamb from Houston and I'm happy. Time to move on.

Howard's camp has consistently warned Houston not to trade for him, that he'd march right into Dallas' cap space next summer.

Good job dwight, so you want to be traded and then tell every team not to trade for you, very smart, pretty much the Intelligence i expected from this guy

Couldn't agree more. Our roster is a hot mess.

Orlando officials have repeatedly told people they want the kind of knockout package Denver received for Anthony, but will it present self?

I never understood the Dallas thing. What makes Dallas so appealing to Howard? Cuban?

Nobody has really mentioned Dallas in trade talks.
What could they offer...

Collison/Roddy/Mayo/Kaman...YUCK! lol
