First try on the tankathon and we got the first pick.
I think this means we are getting the first pick.

Happend on my first try too when I did it.
Were the Lakers outside of the top 3 though?

With Fournier, Hezonja and now Ross, is it safe to assume we won't use our top pick on a player like Monk?

We can all root for LA on NBA TV against the Kings right now. Go Lakers

Orlando will draft BPA. And there is no reason that on a good team Ross couldn't slide to be the primary bench wing behind both Fournier and I-am-better-than-Ross at SF.

Just got the first pick on my first try as well. Swag. Lakers kept their pick tho. Took Jackson at 2. He's a great fit on that roster can't lie. I might literally faint if we won the lottery. Fultz is a franchise player no doubt about it. Everyone else has major red flags but with Fultz it's real nit picky.

Magic must draft PG that will turn into a star ( hopefully). Can't compete in NBA without top tear PG.

Nice charry-picking. yea, having few top players of all time can also do it
But it's easier( and more realistic) to get starting level PG than next Lebron, isn't it?

cherry picking? those are all the most recent winners except for GS, which obviously has a very good PG. Just saying, you dont have to have a star at PG to win. You do have to have a star on the team though.

Again, what's more realistic? To get point guard who will be star level player, or build a team where you will have, like Miami - 2 top 5 players in the league at wings+ Allstar, like Boston- 3 top 10 players on their positions+ great bench , or like Cavs- top 5 player of all time, top 8 PG in the league + Love ? Or like Lakers: probably greatest SG of all time, along with at times top 3 PF , along with,at times most promising young C ( who flopped) + one of greatest coaches of all time?
Ok, i'll give you Dallas, if you can find me 27 ppg scorer at PF who nobody can't really guard because how he shoots, shooting 46% for 3 that year in playoffs.
Btw did you forget Spurs? That Tony guy was just second finals MVP at PG position since Magic Johnson.

I didnt include the Spurs and GS in my list because they had very good PG scoring. i just mentioned some recent winners that had pedestrian PG scoring. and my point stands, you dont have to have a star PG to win, but you do need a star.

And all i said is that it's easier to get PG of a future in this draft than land ( or draft in this draft ) some umer-mega superstar like Lebron,Kobe or Dirk.

Need to get that 4th spot to secure a top 5 pick. In my opinion this is a 5 player draft. Fultz/Ball/Isaac/Smith/Jackson are all potential stars. Our biggest threat to falling to 6th is Minnesota, I'll be cheering for them a lot.
