I really don't like Heat as a team, but man oh man they put up some rock solid roster this year.
Who is Duncan Robinson and why he is 94% FT shooter?
Why Kenrick Nunn plays like top 10 SG?
How can Butler have meh percentages and they can be 15-5?
Dragic is now 40% three point shooter?

Btw don't look now but 2 LA teams in last 10 games have 9-1 record, Bucks have 10-0 record.

For my money, Miami has one of the very best, if not THE best, scouting and player development staffs in the entire NBA.

Look at their current roster...

Winslow - 10th pick
Herro - 13th pick
Adebayo - 14th pick
Robinson - undrafted
Nunn - undrafted
Jones Jr. - undrafted

Five of their nine rotation players were guys they basically scouted and have already developed into a better version of themselves.

And here are a few other guys that have come through their system...

Whiteside - 2nd rounder, eventually signed 4/98M
T. Johnson - Undrafted, eventually signed 4/50M
Richardson - 2nd rounder, eventually signed 4/42M
Ennis - 2nd rounder, now a rotation player for NBA Finals contender
McGruder - Undrafted, now a rotation player for NBA Finals contender

That's ELEVEN guys they've plucked over the last 4-5 years from places you aren't supposed to normally be able to find good talent that they've developed into players that are either good right now or used to be really good.

MAJOR kudos to their scouting and development staffs. Top notch stuff.

Heats current starters include two undrafted players, one of which is a rookie this year. They truly know how to develop young players or use players to their abilities.

Fizdale fired. I wish Elfrid could land on a stable non tanking team for the first time in his life so he can see if he can actually make something of his career. If he even cares at this point.

So, I keep seeing the article, "CLEV has made Love available willing to take 1st rounders and young players in return"
What team wants eat that salary??? They can't really expect anything back for him, can they?

Just off top of my head:
Ibaka and Powell for Love

Aldrige for Kevin Love straight up

Payton and Randle for Kevin Love

he is still good player, you just can't expect him to be your A star.

I'd call those losing the trade for Cleveland, which is about all the can expect. I do like the NYK one, though Randle and Nance would be a clusterF---.

Spurs chould use somebody who can streach the floor. If i'm them i would make that move and find a way to get Noel from OKC. He is top tear defender and probably should be starting

Knicks simply need player that at least has name value.

Raptors trade is awkward one, Raptors will probably use Ibaka sooner or later to explore trade options ( saw some rumors that they would offer Ibaka in Derozan trade). I don't think he is great fit,but salaries match .

Butler is playing best b-ball of his life.
Triple double with +/- of +32 in OT win.

Man, in their win against Hawks tonight check the boxscore for these unknown players:
- Duncan Robinson: 34 points (10-14 for 3)
- Nunn: 36 points
- Bam Adebayo (not so unknown): 30 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists

With we could have a low drafted or undrafted player that could score 20 points in a game... Imagine having 3 that combined gave you 100 points in a single game.

Butler is way better than i thought. Miami getting him for Richardson could be like the Magic getting DLo for AG and DJ.

Butler has a track record for being a top player. Dlo had 1 good year and looks like he might have fallen back to normal

No way Toronto does that, they value defense too much.

It's just bunch of trade ideas.
Ibaka is unrestricted free agent next year, so is Gasol.
BUT free agency next summer sucks so flipping Ibaka for longer contract maybe isn't worst idea

Powell is a great perimeter defender and the trade would change the dynamic of that team. Ibaka is the backup center.
