Different person. TyTy is 6’3”.
He’s also older than your typical freshman. Already 20.

Very interesting player.
6f3 with 6f9 wingspan.
Good shooter.
Better shooter than Ivey.

Ah.. gotcha.
As to your original question, if we picking 5th and those guys are gone, I kinda think we are gonna go for a 3&D SG in the 6'5 height with the emphasis on the 3....unless on of the projected 8-15 draft range blows up in the ncaat

Mathurin, Christie, Davis, etc whoever of them blows up nearing the draft that shows they cab be effective without handling the ball. We already have Fultz Cole Suggs and Franz that need the ball on their hands.

Personally, I don’t like this mentality. Just because someone is already on the roster doesn’t mean they’re a piece the Magic should for sure move forward with.
If there’s a guy they think can be high end with the ball in their hands, then pick that person and just trade guys away.

oh for sure... talent over needs anyday. However, in this scenario its the 5th pick and I assume this is the 2nd tier group of guys already.. for now bo one really seems to have separated themsleves from the pack and if there isnt that nuch difference between each other, I say get the 3pt shootet ala ray, reggie, etc that doesnt need to dribble the ball to be effective.
but hey, if there is still someone in this 5th place that needs the ball in his handa but is a tier 1 player then go for it.

I thought we should have gone all in to get Jalen Green during 2021 draft.
I’m so glad we didn’t.

Re: The 2022 NBA Draft Thread
I got 10 minutes of Auburn’s game tonight. Jabari Smith didn’t show much tonight. Lose handle, missed shots and pushed out of the way down low.
I know he is young and developing fast but he has a long way to go.

Re: The 2022 NBA Draft Thread
He isn’t doing a whole lot right now and his 3pt shooting %s are woeful, but Ousmane Dieng seems like an interesting wildcard. His handles are quite fluid for his height and he can throw some decent passes off the drive too.
I see him as maybe a bit of a Giannis-lite prospect. Like so many, he has some unique skills for his size he just needs to turn them into reliable tools and moves. But he’s probably more likely a 6’10 Frank Ntilikina.

Haven't watched everyone yet and it's v early in the season for evaluation, but so far i have AJ Griffin as my sole Tier 1 player and Jabari Smith and Mathurin in Tier 2.

Yeah I reckon AJ Griffin will end up going pick 1. He’s only just getting started.

Re: The 2022 NBA Draft Thread
Jabari Smith is not the best ballhandler but his shooting ability is really good.
Anyway i think he would fit the Magic very good because the Magic need shooting.
They have to look at guys who can shoot.
Smith Jr
Holmgren
Ivey( % look good but his release point is a little bit low)
Mathurin
Washington
Griffin Jr
