Idk how you can continue to watch games like tonight’s and think yeah we don’t need shooters or a capable PG.

We brought it back sooo many times only to go cold and watch Miami hit 3’s and run a competent 1/2 court offense.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Maybe.

It could have just been a dead team at the end of a very long road trip too unfortunately.

We'll find out in about 40 hours.

We've been accumulating assets and becoming flexible for a reason.... At some point you have to take action..... Nobody is asking for homeruns but I'll take a single or a double right now

Because of the standings and the team we played against it’s certainly a bad loss but probably not one to linger on. Team didn’t seem very interested in playing tonight so hard to take anything away.

Definitely would explain the weird body language with the team tonight. We'll see what happens.

Not making a trade makes me sad... thinking about waking up to find out we made a Brandon Jennings type of trade stresses me out.

Well, this is possibly the last game this particular group will play. Next 36 hrs will be interesting.

I wonder who would fit our team and not miss up the chemistry?

I feel like the schedule has been odd to say the least. Hopefully it gets better for here on out. Odd back to backs, odd trips from one region to the country to the other.

Nah

"For salary-matching purposes, if a player is traded between the time his rookie contract is extended and the following July 1 (when that extension takes effect), the player’s incoming value for the receiving team is the average of his current-year salary and the annual salary in each year of his extension. His current team, on the other hand, simply treats his current-year salary as the outgoing figure for matching purposes."

Lol reddit is such a cesspool.. had someone call me a "snowflake millennial" because he went into the whole "team is terrible, fire the coach, fire the FO" after losing after a 3 game winning streak.

Because nothing screams "snowflake millennial" like crying and blaming everyone when your sports team loses. So many fans are unhinged it's crazy. Doesn't mean they shouldn't make moves, but my god..

His poison pill contract is actually very manageable to trade.

Before the season, Weltman said (in regards to the team standing pat over the offseason) that the players were smart enough to know what that means in this league. That they believed in them and had expectations for them. Well, despite our relative success as a team, how many individual players can we say are actually having good seasons? I would say Paolo, Franz, Suggs, and Moe. And JI and Goga have been good when they've played. The rest of the guys have kinda sucked. If this was a test, I'd give them a failing grade.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Magic Reddit is an echo chamber with quite possibly the worst basketball takes.
