Probably not, unless he was benched. He's low energy. No way he'd adapt to the furious run in the 4th.

Come on now. Magic exploited their lack of size and WCJ would have helped.

Exploited their lack of size lol? Ok we're down, Paolo, Franz, and Moe. JI played 17 mins, WCJr only 13 mins. What size advantage did we have other than Goga? Please tell me. We won with Coach Mose and then Cole, Goga, Black, KCP, TDS, Joseph, Queen, Jett heart and hustle.

That was the gutsiest and likely best (at least regular season) Magic win in Kia Center’s history’s.

That was inaugural season or Heart N Hustle season levels of undermanned insanity.

We don’t win if Wendell doesn’t get ejected.

Queen proved me right.
We’ll see if this is the beginning of something for Cole or a last hurrah.

I don’t care about Boston or the Knicks this week as long as we can somehow beat Miami again on the 26th.

We won a game where our average lead was -11.66.

Our 4th quarter lineups were:
CoJo/Cole/TQ/Jett/JI
CoJo/KCP/TQ/Jett/Goga
CoJo/Cole/KCP/TQ/Goga

That's crazy work.

You can not like this kid but even yesterday, he made some crazy play that could have lost us the game (turnover with a pass behind the back, rushed 3pt shots).

Trading him could hurt this chemistry, I guess wepark don't want to mess with this but trading Cole is STILL the right move

Maybe not. Miami is a small team. They have a 6'9" center and a bunch of players under 6'4".

Four guard lineups brought us back. That's hilarious.

I thought Wendell was pretty solid in his minutes and it's far from certain we couldn't have pulled this off without his ejection. Yeah, we were down big in his minutes, but the same was true for everyone in the first half. Cole was 2/7 from the field in the first half and Miami was scoring seemingly on every possession in his minutes. Goga had 4 points and only 2 boards at the half. Joseph was 1/3 from the field and -18 in 9 minutes. It got easier when the Heat got tired, they were on the second half of a back to back.

CoJo and Queen played the whole fourth quarter while AB and TDS sat.

Very little JI even though we were missing WCJ and Mo.

Seems like the strategy was pace and space to exploit our rest advantage. Just amazing stuff.

I think it's just going to be an outlier game where you can't read much from any of the lineups or anything when it's all said and done. There are games like that somtimes where a teams starters sit and the bench players play awesome then go back to being themselves.

I do think Queen could deserve a look over Jett in the rotation.

That explains JI's minutes but does not explain CoJo and Queen being preferred to AB and TDS. We played every PG on the team in the fourth quarter except the guy who started at the position.

Sanest take.

Cole is going to get a zillion shots with everyone injured. It’s really the only way Orlando could score enough points to remain in this game. Not really deeper than that.

CoJo and Queen were part of the lineup which got the lead down to 8 from 22 in the first 4 minutes of the fourth quarter so Mosley stayed with them. Black also had 5 fouls and 5 turnovers so it's not surprising he didn't come back when the lineup on the court was cooking.

During the course of the season once in a while, you can get a huge boost from little played, fresh players.

Been saying for the longest trevlin queen js a hooper. He should have been playing when Paolo & Franz went down. He should be starting at that small forward sport or the very least backing up at that sf spot.

Cole is one of those guys who, when his head is on right and he's not dealing with whatever personal problems he's had, is capable of having a random eruption game.

This is the 6th time in his career he's gone over 30 points on good efficiency.

I would make a healthy wager that neither Black nor Jett will score 30 points six times in their first five seasons. Maybe not in their entire careers.

I mean they're both kind of missing their chance to be shot chuckers on a bad team like Cole was, they are role players on a good team. Also Cole didn't score 30 until he was 21, AB is still 20. If you shoot a lot you are going to have days where more go in.

I get your point, but it also doesn't say much IMO. We know Jett stinks, AB has a chance to be good. 23 points on the Thunder as a 20 year old makes me think he could score 30 as a primary option on a 22 win team.

I can't wait until we can play some crappy teams like the Raptors.
