Fill it in with AK47 at the Full MLE or Gortat TPE. ;)

Throw that deal in there too

Paul
JRich
Iggy
Baby
Bynum

That is a franchise player, two all stars, and one impact player. Though Bynum has to stay healthy if he does that team is better than what we have now.

Whoa that's knarly that trade, seems everyone is getting kind of what they want.

Kobe is the only thing that separates that team from ours.

Oh just Kobe...? That's all???

that's kinda my point... a second star is all Dwight wants if he's prepared to go there for that lineup.

then again, i think Kobe is past his prime and won't be a massive individual difference maker for much longer.

I dunno about you guys, but am I the only one that *in case dwight is traded* wants Lopez as our starting C, then we get a stud PF like an Al Jeff, Millisap, etc rather than Bynum as C then a little crappy PF in BBD or Ryan?

I'm with u on the Lopez part. I don't like bynums knee situation and honestly and I know I might get flamed for this but Lopez kinda has a Tim Duncan like offensive game and at 23 he can get better.

Chris Paul would never resign with Orlando if they dont have Dwight so there wouldnt be any trades for him if we trade Dwight

If only he had Duncan's defensive game.

paul would have to be very desperate to get out of new orleans no matter what for that deal. he prefers a big market.

i'd be happy with that deal too except that the NBA has already shut down the Pau/Paul/Scola/Kmart swap a couple times already, so why would they change their tune now?

they might reconsider if it were a straight Bynum for Paul swap? but any deal for Paul comes at the risk he's gonna bolt in the summer anyway, so why just rent him?

how about this:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=7uw8bz6

Jefferson
Gasol/BBD/Anderson
JRich/Harper/Q/Williams
Harden/Liggins
Nelson/Du

if you can swap Nelson + Anderson + Harper for Nash then that team is right back as a contender.

Give him time?? :dontknow: :dontknow: I mean sure this is a stretch but I never even imagined Dwight to be this defensive of a beast when we had him the first 2 seasons.

Anyway even if he doesn't I still have nightmares during the Grant Hill era where I was just waiting for an injury to happened to him. At least with Brooke,I would be surprised if he did

That's awfully interesting. I think Orlando and LA would do the deal, not so sure if OKC would. Utah is getting back decent players in Perk and Redick so I could see them cashing in Al and accepting.

After thinking about this one it actually seems very plausible. The thought of Bynum and Ibaka would entice Presti to pull the trigger.

Bynum gives the Thunder a scorer at the 1,3 and 5. LA would struggle to handle that team.

@rookiestar

That's right after all dwights intro to the league was being on a poster of a dunk. and last time I checked Bynum was no defensive stopper.

Yup not saying Brooke will, just that the alternative means reliving the Grant Hill era. Don't tell me majority here is willing to undergo that again? What's even worse is the guy we are putting our hopes for and wanting to play isn't as classy as Hill.... heck exact opposite of Grant

Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part V) NEW START

Post#539 » by DwightrulestheEast » Sun Dec 11, 2011 10:56 am

Well guys, maybe it's just me but I think that with the CP3 trade falling apart, we'll keep Dwight around for the moment and make a last ditch effort to get him.

Keep the Rockets in it and take back some salary like Okafor and use the Gortat TPE some way. Anybody free to work the trade machine?
Back to the lottery...

Id consider trading Dwight for both Bynum and Gasol....

I may hate them but still....
... nice trade assets
bigs actually dont grow on trees
you saw how much Houston is willing to give up just to get freakin Gasol
Bynum is still young center and (aside of health problems )Im sure a lot of teams would be interested in him too :)

guys like chandler ...nene gets...huge contracts....
Perkins too...
Bigs are always worth a lot

Return to Orlando Magic
