If nothing goes down tonight... then nothing will go down tomorrow or the 15th. Just my honest opinion. GS won't trade us Ellis.

Might need to look elsewhere for slight upgrades.

I think everyone here understands, and expects, Redick & Anderson to be gone.

Idk...going through this thread it doesn't really seem like it.

There's a small chance that if we help GSW get Bogut and absorb Biedrins's and SJax's contracts, we wouldn't have to give up both. Nevertheless, as I said, is a very slim chance.

Monta Ellis
A fun little tidbit from the new stats gizmo at NBA.com: The Warriors are plus-15 this season when Steph Curry plays and Monta Ellis are on the bench but minus-119 when Ellis plays and Curry is on the pine. The season before, they were plus-23 with Curry and no Ellis but minus-191 with Ellis and no Curry. The season before that, the tally was plus-122 with Curry and no Ellis and minus-89 for the opposite.

So, for the three seasons those two have been together, Golden State has outscored its opponents by 160 points when Curry plays and Ellis sits despite being badly outscored overall. And, in the opposite situation, the Warriors have been outscored by 399 points.

Marshon Brooks or Monta Ellis?

Either way, we're finally getting someone to create their own shot!!!! ;)

This is what everyone should talk about ..

I'd prefer some smaller moves than a roster-gutting move .. The risk of losing everything we have + Dwight is too big

But please, for the love of God, do something! No trade & letting him walk would be like giving up ..

You are correct, but as constructed we would be lucky to get past the Hawks.

sure. i am trying to put things in perspective. trading dwight short a top 12 player will make orlando irrelevant for about 6 years. letting dwight walk at the end of the season will make orlando irrelevant for about 6 years.

i rather keep him and make a push this off-season regardless of what we do before the trade deadline.

That was too funny. I literally started coughing because of laughing so hard

This is probably what the BVW call to Dwight sounded like.

JJ and Ryan guarantees a future.

Ellis with no JJ and Ryan means that we suck because we are the Orlando Warriors.

we need a backup PG and a backup C. We aren't getting out of round 1 with Duhon playing minutes at the point.
This team does not need Richardson, Redick, and Wafer at SG.

I say the Magic will only make minor tweaks to the roster and convince Dwight to at least Opt In because in 2013 we can have both Ellis and Josh Smith to go with Ryno and JJ.

That is the Best Pitch Martins can make right now without making trades to tack on more salary further crippling this team.

This is why I keep saying, nothing major will happen. This is all media and fans blowing rumors out of proportion to get attention.

That's funny I thought Ellis was younger than Redick... As for Ryan, what's he gonna add to his game? Shoot MORE 3's?

if anything, we should make trades for expiring contracts. I'd crown Otis king if we could dump Nelson with Ryan for an expiring, like Boris Diaw. Tell Dwight to be patient for a few more months. Then sign Deron ourselves.

I will be without internet until just about 30 minutes before tipoff. Hope something is done when I return.
