Fit doesn't really matter when the player you are gonna draft is gonna be better than Paolo and Franz.

I think the #11 is going to come down to whose avaliable, considering 4-12 could go in alot of different orders.

The Magic need to do through scouting considering that pick is in the later end.

I hope its btwn Hendricks (finger crossed he's still available)Cason/Keyonte/Dick

Big time confirmation bias for me but I always figured he had the least holes in his game because of an excellent work ethic.

He’s definitely growing on me…is he a floor general and a floor spacer? We know he’s a terror on D. Would a Suggs/Wallace backcourt be terrifying defensively but insufficient on the other end or can Paolo & Franz be the real engines of the offense? (Inside out like DEN).

Any chance at all he’s ultimately the best PG in the draft? :o I’m starting to think he might not last until 11.

He could back up Fultz until the trade deadline, when Fultz’ expiring deal is useful in a trade package.

I’d be happy with Wallace and Hawkins or Dick, but I think they need to take a long look at Lively and Whitehead too. If Lively is for real, he might really be the kind of center we really need long-term. There’s plenty of quality minutes for WCJ backing up 4/5 If Isaac isn’t coming back for good…or either becomes a valued trade chip. Something about Whitehead makes me think he’s possibly the great scorer of this draft…if he recovers 100%. Foot injuries often get better but in big guys, they can be career-defining too.

The same mentality you see in great defenders. The fierce mindset to improve…I’m impressed with this guy

What’s the potential of Cason Wallace? Star potential?

What does he project to be?

Cason is bigger than Gary Harris.

Cole has a 6.4.5" wingspan, and Cason has a 6'8.5" wingspan. Suggs has a 6'6" wingspan. Harris has a 6'6.75" wingspan.

I think Cason sandbagged the combine. Players don't like to show their whole bag to every team to try and control their destiny. Kentucky always has legit pro days with measurements and verticals. Wallace had a 42" vertical. At the NBA combine, he had a 29" vertical. Obviously, he wasn't showing everything.

The same thing happened with Bufkin. You could tell with the video that he barely jumped in the vertical testing.

i went the entire time thinking he was 6'4 because that's what he was listed at...he measured 6'2 without shoes....the wingspan helps no doubt but for me he's smaller than i envisioned....

6'2.5", so 6'3.5" with shoes is usually called 6'4". Suggs is 6'3" w/o shoes with a much smaller wingspan than Cason.

Cason is bigger than Quickley and jumped 5 inches higher at Kentucky's pro day. Quickley 6'2" w/o shoes with a 6'8" wingspan. Cason 6'2.5" w/o shoes 6'8.5" wingspan.

Would you take him at 6 with the intention of starting him in Fultz’ spot? (Immediately or sometime in the season)

That’s the only scenario that makes sense to me…and I like it. I just don’t if Cason is really a guy that can run an offense. I’m not anti, just don’t know that information. I’m afraid he might be Davion or Suggs, when we need a Jamal Murray-ish guy. I think Suggs will bring a lot more and, hopefully, soon, but his position is still unclear to me.
