I am pretty confident given how terrible the Magic are and how absolutely BRUTAL the second half schedule (seriously go check it out) that they end up in the bottom 5.

They're only 1 game from being 3rd worst right now.

If they make even one trade to unload a veteran, it becomes even more likely.

We really just need to ditch Evan ASAP.

We can keep Vuc for a reloaded next season.

AG really doesn’t change much for us and likely helps us more in trades over the off season when he enters the final year of his deal.

Honestly, Bouknight was completely off my radar.

I took your advice and watched some highlights.

Alright, I like what (little) I see. I’ll tune into some UConn games and try to catch some more.

Yup but check a full game when he wasnt injured.
Watch when he passes or when he is agrrssive. His athelticism isnt probably as great as Keon but his shooting... As little as i saw he is probably a pure SG which is fine for me.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Moody looks interesting. He's a 6'6" SG with a 7' wingspan.

I know injuries played a role, but the Magic had the easiest schedule in the league in the first half and posted the 6th worst record.

They have the toughest schedule in the league in the second half.

The Magic have 13 wins right now, but 12 of the 13 are against teams that currently have losing records. Only 1 win 33 games into it against a team with a winning record currently.

Like I said in another thread, Orlando has 39 games left and only 4 of them are against teams with worse records than they have.

I just don’t see how they’re going to do well. They’ve only beaten trash and they just don’t have much more trash on the schedule.

I hope you are right but i've seen the ''hardest 2nd half schedule'' turn into mediocre schedule in the end before. Just remember Brooklyn 2 years ago. Everyone said they gonna miss the playoffs because they have the hardest 2nd half schedule. In the end they won a bunch of games against good team, who rested there stars.
2nd the teams around us except Washington, gonna make moves to get worse. We gonna try to reach the Play In Tournee til its mathematically impossible.
3rd. We gonna play our Vets til the last game without much resting, unlike the real tanking teams.

The good thing is, when we end up 7th or worse, we still got good chance to jump.

Btw what you think about Green now? After his first game you were a bit shocked about his ballhandling. I still try to avoid watching the top 5 as self protection.

Yeah same, what am I missing? How is he not in top 5 talk. Looks elite scorer. Also wouldn’t rule out Keon Johnson. Talk about high ceiling if he is jump shot improves

I agree that Bouknight looks good and I am surprised he escaped my radar this long. Still ...

Cade, Mobley and Suggs have been a different kind of special in the college game.

Likewise, the raw freakishness of those two G-League guys (Kuminga and Green) sets them apart from others in this class.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m still going to lose my **** when we miss out on a top 5 pick. But a few of these names are starting ease my inevitable pain and suffering.

My issue with moody is the lack of "shake" to his game....but he is like james harden without the crazy handles because he knows how to draw a lot of fouls a think recently he went to the line like 18 times or something crazy like that.

How or why? Because look at the top.. He might be athletic but not out-of-this-world type like Green. Or not physically imposing like Kuminga. Or carry-the-team abilities like Suggs. Or do-it-all while being 6'8 like Cade.

Any other draft and he will be in talks for a top5. But for now, he is in the 8 and below with the likes of Zaire, Moody and etc.

and with how the second half of the season is looking for us? we'll be one of the worst teams at the end

Exactly.. the teams we will be playing are on the playoff hunt so they won't rest their players against us.

yeah, that was the refs. 43-8 FTA difference. Arksansas played good, but the refs blew a whistle anytime a Bama player was within 10 ft of a Hog player

Moody hasn't been on my radar yet but what little I saw of him is he is an offensive load. He might not be as athletic ( vertical wise ) as a Johnson or Bouknight but man can he score. Spot on with the Harden comparison, guy just bulldoze or scores his way in. He might not make the flashy dunk or acrobatic move,, which is gonna be a problem somewhat if you are a rookie and refs won't call anything against the defense when you try to score ( exhibit A: Cole ) He has 3pt range though but I wonder how effective his drive to the rim will be against NBA-level defense.

KINGS snap a nine (!) game losing skid to get win No. 13. Tying them with the Magic.
