Not sure about that they aren't even similar players at all. Vuc is brook lopez or kevin love, in both what he does on a bad team and what he would be like on a different (better) team.

Everything begins and ends from dealing with the Aminu/Gordon/Isaac/Okeke traffic jam. We need to consolidate money and draft value from there. The roster needs an NBA SF and to trim the bill. We've already made the playoffs so we know what this core can do. We need to trim the fat of commitments even with all these injuries

Why are you singling out anyone on this terrible roster? There are a lot more that need to go.

Going forward we have the 4 spot filled it well with Isaac and Okeke. Ag and Aminu are redundancy with poor shooting. Im not disagreeing other players should go too but they both definitely need to be traded.

Since Gordon went down Clark has started all 4 games. He scored: 3, 0, 3, and 0 points. He was a combined 2-14 in those four games = 14% shooting.

So far this season Clark is averaging 21 mpg and in that time he is shooting 29% with a 3 ppg average. That is, every 7 minutes he scores 1 point.

Plus: Carter-Williams is on 34% shooting, Mason is so far at 38%. Anthony also on 38% shooting. Okeke on 40%. Fultz was also at 40% before going down. Bacon is at 41%; and offence is his "specialty". Ross is at 42%. Bone had 43% before being waived. Before his injury, Gordon was at 43%. Fournier is at 44% (in a contract year ?!?!?!?).

(( The only component non-Center on this roster for FG% is Ennis of all people at 48% )).

Well, this Season Clark is 3rd last of 264 qualified players in points per 36 minutes. With 5.6 Points per 36 Minutes. Thats ridiculous!

That's because we have 3 superstars, so we don't need points from the other players... oh wait.

Meh.

I think before the season started the Magic thought a rotation of...

Fultz-Fournier-Ennis-Gordon-Vucevic
Anthony-MCW-Ross-Okeke/Aminu-Birch

Was going to be good enough to be a playoff team, a 7 or 8 seed.

And they were perfectly ok with that. And THAT is ultimately the problem. Ownership and management being content with such a low upside roster.

#FreeClark

Jokes aside, he is deep bench guy that basically costs team nothing ( $2M).
They never thought that times when they will start him or play him in rotation will come.

He is deep bench guy who is now starting by accident.

If management started making trades to shore up this awful roster, i'd be very upset.

But they're not. They are thinking about the future. They are keeping their tradable assets to set up the future, not using them to plug leaks in the present sinking ship, and they are setting up their salary cap adjustment.

We're losing, while holding on to our assets. It's win win at the moment. Keep forcing Coach Clifford to play Clark 36 minutes per game! Don't trade for some middling veteran who will give us decent production (and get us meaningless wins.) Imagine getting a top 5 pick AND trading our vets in the offseason for a very good veteran.

Front office will have to take their licks from us fans, but I hope they stay the course with this putrid roster. I agree with Knightro that they believed they'd make the playoffs at the beginning of the season with what healthy players we had. I also think its safe to say they are very, very, very aware of the statistics regarding our terrible players that we throw around here. Their "inaction" is action.

That said, my hope is we don't have to wait till the off season, that when the top four teams start smelling a chance at the finals this season, they'll make power moves to arm up their rosters. They'll come knocking for Ross, Vuc, Fournier, Gordon.

he costs nothing but manages to produce even less than that somehow.

I could see several players not going to the allstar game this year. That's why i think it's likely Vuc will be there.

Got a question for you guys.. if we make a trade NOW instead of the deadline.. like we trade Fourny AG etc for some good young pieces.. isn't there a chance where we win games by accident and thereby derailing our perfectly good tank?

I mean Im all for getting NAW, Trent etc etc but those guys might win us some games where we are fighting those other tankers for Cade.

Just ignore him. Every post is some anti-Vuc or Fournier post. I've given up debating with him on those two players awhile ago.

The fact that he compared Vuc to Alex Len should be enough evidence to show how hard it is to debate with someone like that about those two players.
