6'2.5", so 6'3.5" with shoes is usually called 6'4". Suggs is 6'3" w/o shoes with a much smaller wingspan than Cason.

i just thought he would measure better but that's my fault going off of things i read on twitter....we're not picking him anyway so probably a moot point
Cason will probably be picked in the 6-10 range. Washington at 8 is my favorite to pick him.

never seen him mocked higher than 8 so that sounds about right.....my question is why didn't george measure? he was at the combine clearly but didnt measure.....

Would you take him at 6 with the intention of starting him in Fultz’ spot? (Immediately or sometime in the season)

That’s the only scenario that makes sense to me…and I like it. I just don’t if Cason is really a guy that can run an offense. I’m not anti, just don’t know that information. I’m afraid he might be Davion or Suggs, when we need a Jamal Murray-ish guy. I think Suggs will bring a lot more and, hopefully, soon, but his position is still unclear to me.
Who knows what we'll do with the guard situation. Fultz only has $2m guaranteed, and they could opt out of Harris ' contract.

I've heard the Nuggets don't have Bruce Brown's Bird rights, so they won't have enough to re-sign him. He's probably an upgrade over Harris and Fultz.

Maybe he has a great wingspan but wants to control which teams have his info. That's part of the reason I think he might have a promise.

The more I look at these prospects, the more convinced I am that the Magic should trade both picks for something useful.

Interesting that he underperformed the athleticism tests since I read somewhere that he has a back injury that is a red flag.

He had a back injury in college which made him missing a few games

Yeah, Cam is projected to be gone by 6. That's why we didn't get any votes for Brandon Miller either.

Fair point, I thought the same. I bet the consensus right now is that Cam is the better prospect.

I'm really not sure that's true outside of these boards. Cam is really really raw too...a lot of our projections are kind of hopeful. Just because he's built like current best player in the world, Jimmy Butler, doesn't mean he'll be able to bully NBA players like he did in college. I'm high on Cam too, but i don't get the sense the NBA world is that sure about him...I'm not.

Well, he is still only 18, so he will mature. The scary thing is that the twins are considered raw, and they've had 24/7 training for two years. My guess is some players never improve shooting, and that's the category the twins will fall into.

Agree...once we get past Miller at 3, they're ALL projects (in the next bunch), then, around 10 there are some predictable skill guys that maybe don't have the unlimited upside of the project guys. We're lucky that we can grab one of each flavor.

It sounds as if he would take George over the Thompson Twins at 14:00.

Dariq, at worse, is Gary Harris. I'd happily take that #11. The foot injury is my only reservation.

The good is that the Thompson Twins are .5 inches bigger than for former top 5 pick Culver. The bad is Culver is no longer in the league because he couldn't shoot.
