I'm only truly worried about who I know will be here in the future.

I feel like Suggs wrist/hand thing, while he's been shooting well this year, will need to be addressed in the offseason. He's a trooper for playing through it because when he landed on his wrist in that Boston game it looked immediately terrible.

Paolo needs to finish so much stronger, so many decent drives tonight and he cannot finish.

Franz is bothered by physical play, which teams can hone in on. Needs a counter to how he normally plays when they throw him off.

I honestly can't believe how far Cole has fallen. He is a shell of himself right now.

Agreed. Not a fan of his at all but I didn't expect he would work his way to being almost unplayable at this point in the season.

Watching Coby White explode this season, who I regarded in a similar 'meh' tier of player, makes me sad.

No.

That would make too much sense and would be apolitical.

At this point Cole should just be sit down for a “injury” for a couple of game so he can get his bearings.

I’m really not liking the team right now.

Kinda the worst situation because everyone is back from injury and now they are all playing like ****.

Everyone seems to be running through the motions and there are WAY too few minutes to go around for the amount of guys needing them.

The second unit has dropped off a cliff. Carter and Fultz are liabilities. Suggs looks like he s playing on one hand with an injured wrist. Franz is hot and cold on a quarterly basis. Etc.

Even if Weltman doesn’t make a splashy move there should be something done with addition by subtraction. End the madness.

It sucks trying to read anything related to players on Twitter/X, 80% of the comments are sportsbetting related.

Don’t get me wrong, we desperately need an upgrade in the guards and are in dire need of consistent 3pt shooting but we shouldn’t overreact to this one as this was last game of a long road trip and we just played maybe the most undisciplined team in history and with this teams inexperience they probably got complacent against an completely opposite disciplined Miami team. 2pts half way thru the first is a we weren’t up for this game issue, flush it down and move on the next set of games at home.

Saw this posted on reddit:

Number of players averaging 13+ PPG:

6: Atlanta, Miami

5: Boston, Cleveland, Charlotte, Houston, Portland

4: Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Indiana, LA Lakers, LA Clippers, Memphis, Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Sacramento, Toronto, Utah

3: Brooklyn, Dallas, Golden State, Minnesota, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Washington

2: Orlando (Paolo and Franz)

...

Yeah, we need scoring talent. It's cool and I agree we should get AB and Goga more minutes, but if we're serious about being semi-competitive this year, we can't have streaky offensive players from everybody but our best players.

Why 13 ppg though? Why that number specifically?

Time to trade for Embiid, play our AB more, get one final piece to the puzzle in the draft!

Wow. It's amazing how much our defense is carrying this team.

Because nothing screams "snowflake millennial" like crying and blaming everyone when your sports team loses. So many fans are unhinged it's crazy. Doesn't mean they shouldn't make moves, but my god..

Magic reddit is made out of boys on their periods.
Always in either cry or best thing ever mode, nothing in between exists.
Very toxic & immature place. Hard pass. Reddit in general is rabbithole, in some segments to very ....odd people, to say a least.

We get emotional here, but it's mostly in game threads.. spills out sometimes but generally you can have better quality of conversations, even if there's disagreements
