The only thing is would the clips give up everything if Dwight doesn't resign? I say no.

I'm kinda over Rudolph....nothing personal.... i'll just get my information elsewhere.

I think the Clips have enough to land both Dwight and CP3, in the case of that happening than ya, Dwight probably says he'll resign

Rudolph saying again his timing is that he was waiting to confirm it... not sure I bite on that. Maybe a little truth, but he's been saying too much about this for far to long to hide behind that.

That team would then have CP3, Ellis, Dorell Wright, David Lee, Chandler. That's a pretty nasty team right there. That's TWO guys that Dwight would want to be playing with right there, in a big market, with great fans. I wouldn't be shocked if that happens that Dwight pushes for a trade there (although the pieces we would ask back for would prob be Ellis/Chandler).

If the Clippers end up landing CP3, and don't have to give up Eric Gordon...that now leaves the Clippers with CP3 and cap room next year, and NJ with Deron and cap room next year.......ugh.

If I were in magic I'd be on the phone with chandlers agent and tell him we want to help him get paid... Tell him he should keep his price way high and that we want to do an s/t with GSW for biedrens/Ellis so that they can afford him. and pray clippers offer hornets a better deal for Paul then GSW can.

Jrich, jj, Fran rights/Harper/whatever he'll flip bass and Nelson for an asset do something

Actually, this is really smart. I mean, the GSW are VERY much in the hunt for CP3...the Hornets seem to like their pieces the best (Curry +). CP3 has said he wont fully commit to signing an extension with either GSW or LAC but that their chances would be highly increased by signing Chandler. Chandler wants to get PAID. If we can free up some cap room for them, they can do exactly that, then prob swing a trade for CP3 (who might likely re-sign). Something like Ellis+Biedrins for a S+T J-rich (who they're interested in, replacing Ellis), and maybe like JJ/Q? Freeing up like another 5-10 million in capspace to land Chandler. We get Ellis to pair with Dwight, they get CP3 and Chandler, along with an Ellis replacement. Honestly, that's not at all bad for either side!

Wow :o blistering comments from Nick Anderson.

Nick Anderson is true blue. As a fan, you gotta love it that he's looking out for the franchise and looking out for the fans.

Thanks for speaking for us Nick!

+1, Stan was right. But the timing of this article couldn't be any worse, a very slimy move by a member of the media not surprising though considering they want him to leave. He probablly kept this in his back pocket for this very moment. Normally nobody would care but in very intense times like this it doesn't matter when it happend. Well played.

Anyway, I agree with Stan and I think we've all felt like this for a long time, this isnt a sudden development in the face of him possibly leaving although other uneducated fan bases are going to say it is. His immaturity on the court has always been annoying and costly in games.

As dominant as he is, IF it's clear that he wont re-sign, then I would rather see him gone before the start of the season. I don't want to go through what Nuggs fans did, I prefer the team Im going to cheer for be together at training camp. Magic FO, fans, and his teamates dont deserve to go through that. It takes away from the game, the focus on winning is gone, the fun of watching the games is gone with everyone focusing on where Dwight will go.

Ric basically saying the Clipps don't want to trade with us... I don't buy it. I guess I buy Dwight not wanting to go there, but there's no way the Clipps don't want him

Wake me up when something real happens. I'm fed up with the Twitter rumor nonsense. Twitter simultaneously revolutionized and ruined sports journalism. These upjumped forum posters get on there and post vague, would-be intriguing things, citing their ever-mysterious "sources." Heck, Alex Kennedy and co. started getting paid to do it. I would like to get the word "sources" removed from the English dictionary by this point.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.
