Maybe because he's a bad defender?

but his man was 2-5. lets not count how many times he got schooled by singleton and seraphin, his man in the box score was 2-5, it doesnt matter the results on the court, just what lines up with the box score

Seriously? how many points did seraphin scored on ryan tonight? 4?
Singelton was scoring off the pick n roll which ryan and jameer/jj was trapping which means its on davis to rotate and prevent him to score, which he didnt do.

Watched davis missing rotations on defense and getting benched for orton for defensive purposes.
Not saying ryan was good or anything but davis is the one who killed us tonight.

davis was awful on defense, i agree, he at least had results besides that, ryan got beat so many times and it caused the defense to rotate and leave guys wide open, same with davis, one got outplayed by seraphin and the other vaseliney

Here is the consensus...Ryan and Glen were both terrible on rotations tonight. Hopefully we can get Dwight back against the Hawks and should be fresh with two days in between to rest and practice for once.

They said they'd play Von Wafer for an offensive boost....and they never did. This coaching staff....they make adjustments in their head but forget to do it on the court.

I don't know why you guys are arguing on who suck more on defense, Ryan or Glen, in my opinion, the entire team SUCKED. We need Dwight back! I hope his back is better because I can't watch this team play anymore games without him. Yeah, the Detroit game was a good game but look at the box scores, Orlando was hitting 3s at the rate of 53.6% and then 52% on FTA, that's not our average, the team just did well that day, but the last 3 games without Dwight teams have shot over 50% and have killed us in the paint. We need him back.

And we are 24th for 4th quarter points per game. And yes, I know that's a different statistic from the 1st quarter margin.

It was a good reality check overall. Dwight might be on a lot of peoples **** list right now, but you don't get offensive rebounds around the rim or score at will in the paint with Dwight in there. Kevin Seraphin doesn't score 24 if Dwight is in there. And the offensive improvement without Dwight? Non-existent. When the Wizards surprisingly started playing defense, we just jacked up 3's like we normally do (except for Ish Smith, who has a pair).

I'd like to see Ish Smith playing with Dwight. See if he could create for him, and see if they run the floor well together.

I wonder what goes through the teams head after the 1st quarter, because I don't understand how we can get leads and yet we still continue to kill ourselves by losing them after halftime.

it's kinda sad to know that Ish will probably be back to the bench real soon maybe Friday......Tonight while Ish may had a few miscues he imo was more of a point guard than Nelson was....Ish knows how to read the flow of the game...when to be aggressive...when to be passive.....He reminds me a lot of Skip in that sense....He may not be the shooter that Duhon is but Ish is more of the true point guard we need in our pick and roll offense.....

Wish i could see him play with Dwight though.....i can imagine a Ish/Dwight pick and roll where the defender can't leave Howard but can't stay in front of Ish because he's so fast.....that could cause some damage....but it will probably never come to fruition....because this is Stan we're talking about....

The same Stan we have now basically watched Rafer "Skip to ma lou" Alston help lead our team to the finals only to be benched for Jameer for some reason i stil don't understand.....Stan is so set on who he thinks should be playing that at times it hurts the team....

Earl is such a disappointment, he is the worse defender we got. I am not kidding. I have never seen even hedo or jrich to loose his man or mix up rotations like that. If he can not even do that, what good is he?

we can not lose games like this man, we just can not.
