If the deal as reported goes through, the Magic would then have 15 guaranteed contracts. No 3rd backup pg, no Liggins.

lmao gotta be more than that involved in the trade.

More pieces are supposedly coming back to us. I think one of those is Spencer Hawes. Why would Philly have that much money invested in one position, Kwame, Hawes and Bynum all at Center? I also think one other contract is going to Denver if Harrington is coming to Orlando.

So when its all said in done I think we trade JRICH, Dwight, Turk, Harper or Q.Rich

Get back Harrington, S. Hawes, Moe Harkless, Ebanks, Vucivec, Affalo, 3 1st round picks.

i hope so....getting rid of just Richardson doesn't justify the rpae we would be experiencing in that deal

So is Gasol in or out? He has to be in. We need to be able to flip him to get more for Dwight.

I doubt we have many Dwight fans left anyways. It is hard as hell to root for the trash that Devos orchestrates though. I am serious when I say I will not spend a penny on this team (jerseys, tickets, etc) until the Devos' sell the team.

If this is the deal... I hope there is another deal in the works to get rid of contracts, but how? And **** Dwight Howard!

Also the reality of sucking this season is finally setting in :(

If Turk gets dealt somehow then it makes some sense I guess. Harrington is unguaranteed after next year, so he is an expiring. All we would have on the books really would be Jameer (assuming his 2nd year is guaranteed), BBD, Afflalo. Everybody else is on a super cheap contract or unguaranteed or whatever. That would only be like $25 mil tied up or so. Is THAT the plan?....

As much as you guys dislike Dwight, it's really all on the ownership group. I've suffered through plenty years of **** Warriors ownership/management before boycotting the team for good until they got sold. I think you have the right idea, it all starts at the top.

I wish my gf snapped a shot of my face when I turned to ESPN to hear them say this is a done deal. WTF WTF WTF.....This is none of:
1. win now
2. young talent/good draft pics
3. salary dump

I don't get it. Unless Henny wants to go into extreme tank mode/Bobcats style, still the pics from the other 3 teams will be in the twenties..

Did I say WTF???

Starting to believe that a lot of this might be bull man.....how is that we're taking on all that salary and it's not even a team that can win 50 games...hell might have trouble winning 40.....what is going on here? are we really trading Dwight for 3 SF's and a no name backup center when we already have Goose and Kyle? Something is not right about this.....

Return to Orlando Magic
