Not sure if I need another win other than the upcoming Laker game. I'd be completely satisfied with tonight + a Lakers win and a 2-80 record.

A lot of people still wearing Dwight jerseys?

Oops, missed this, sorry. Honestly I didn't see any. They handed out "We Will" t-shirts, so most people wore those. Of jerseys, I saw Arroyo, McGrady, Lewis, Reddick, Nelson... I wore Turk (and I guess jinxed him). But I personally didn't see any Dwight, but I honestly wasn't focused on it.

We needed this win tonight - the players, the fanbase, the city. It was the first real step towards a new future, and away from that messy offseason.

The Magic might not be nearly as talented as they once were, but I like their spirit. And I like our new head coach. We've got nothing to lose; there's no real pressure. As long as the guys go out there and compete hard, I'm satisfied. Give it the ol' college try, rah rah rah.

Really unnecessary message. Stan was clearly out of this whole new plan so why you even mention him? He did a good job here, with pros and cons, no one's 100% perfect. Do you know what "moving on" means? Do it 8-)

Nope. One game is always an acceptable sample size.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Forget sample size. Harden > Jordan

Just watched the game. Man, there sure were a lot of empty seats. Might fly in and sit near courtside if the prices are reasonable. It was too much when Dwight was there

This.

Always good to see the Magic winning but right now the easiest way to get better is losing

This was a fun game. Everyone came out ready to play and some guys surprised me. Glad McBob picked it up and played good. He's a good energy guy off the bench to be honest.

I'm sure Jameer, BBD and JJ are going to really enjoy their season without Dwight, because now they really get to play their game. They are going to stand out.

Can't wait to see DeQuan and Maurice. E'Twaun still surprising me!

Nice win last night.

To those noticing the empty seats, that's always the case. They are hanging in the where all of the freebies are.

BBD was awesome. May be Harkless time soon with Hedo out. This about to get interesting.

3-79 would be better (winning both games vs the lakers)

Finally got power back.....at work. Sucks that I am missing the start of the regular season.

ANYWAY

Great win. Screw tanking. These haters including some fans here just irk me. Win as many as possible!

I don't like the lack of playing the youth though, but I'll bear with it if it means shutting some people up. 16 wins...LMAO.

I agree we shouldn't try to lose. It's just going to happen though. I still think we win 28 games (+/- 6 games) but we will play hard and be competitive. I also think that there will be a lot of teams in the same winning percentage group with the exception of Charlotte. That roster still looks abysmal.
