Gordon
Biyombo? idk lol

I think our best shot is drafting a PG in the upcoming draft. The PG market is pretty thin this year so teams are going to be throwing a ton of money at those guys. Plus this PG draft class is really deep

The Magic probably have had a private talk with each other about tanking and doing it away from the media in private. When the Magic were up on the Trail Blazers, i'm thinking maybe they want to win tonight's game and not purposely lose every game left in the regular season. I would like to see us get a couple of wins in the 2nd half because if we don't win 1 game in the 2nd half, we are making the tank way too obvious. It's best to tank but try to win a couple of games and look good in the losses.

Because you literally just watched 4/5 players miss tons of shots, commit turnovers and miss free throws as well. I don't see how it's justified for a player that was 2-7 off the bench with 2 turnovers himself, but hey, I guess Vogel is a genius.

Point guards shouldn't be leading a team in turnovers and missed free throws. Well, good ones at least.

Vogel tanked for us by force-feeding Evan/Vuc and ignoring the rest of the team. Ironically, this is how past coaches did it too.

I just think it's tough to grow as a team (especially a young team) when your point guard is a 19/20 year old who might take 2-3 years just to learn how to run an NBA offense correctly.

Ball/Ross/Mario would be a deadly perimeter though, and if Aaron Gordon can even improve his 3pt shooting to the 32-34% range, that would be a crazy 3pt shooting team for years to come

This summer is going to be an internal blowout. I think that Elfrid and Evan are goners. Ross did not hit his shots today but he was making the right passes. I see him starting over at that SG spot. Its just one game but he is a versatile guy. Fournier is just complete garbage. That selfish poodle needs to gtfo. I see him and Elfrid being packaged for a major upgrade at the PG.

I dont want to trade Vuc. AS much crap as people give him, he is one talented C. He is underappreciated here bc we suck and losing never impresses anybody. Its going to take a big offer to get us to move our best player.

We should've traded for RJ because he would've been a good stopgap PG until the draft pick develops. I'm not expecting a rookie to come in and lead us right away.

makes sense, I'm sure people on here thought we purposely lost games before the all star break, But tonight was a really good example of purposely lose the game.

Just reading this thread makes me hate Fournier even more. Gotta love his apologists though.

A guy like Westbrook is surounded by trash and he can't stop passing the ball. Fournier on the other hand refuses to pass to the open guy and somehow half the board keeps defending him. Not to mention he sucks at absolutely everything besides scoring. SMDH

He's trash. A poor man's Lou Williams at best.

Replace Teague/Hill with Ball/Fultz. That's what we're shooting for.

Sure, but can you guys tank that hard? You got ground to make up on a few other teams

Or maybe the lottery balls roll the right way for you

Well if we can't, we can grab Dennis Smith Jr, Tatum or Jon Isaac.

Isaac is so young that he could become a complete stud or be like a more aggressive Rashard Lewis and give us 22 PPG or so.

If we get Isaac or Tatum, we should sign Teague or Hill.

Additionally our pick from you guys needs to be REALLY good. We need a top 9 rotation player out of it.

If we draft Smith Jr, I think we will have to pursue a guy like Gallinari at SF.

Regardless, we need to get the guy who projects most to be a star and sort the rest out with free agency.

This team didnt lose on purpose. They have bad chemistry and fell apart.

A scoring PG could do it. Lilliard, Rose, Erving..those guys were pretty solid rather fast.

Really liked what Ross brought tonight. Feels good to have someone with a feel for playing offense.

I'd avoid his stat line tonight if I were you.

He is playing injured. This is not the Reggie Jackson we are gonna see next season.

Not if we draft a pg. If we go for Jackson, Tatum or Isaac then I'd say there's a very good chance.

Yeah for sure. I just think it would make more sense for the long term to get a Ball or Fultz rather than pay 25 mill a year for one of those guys. But your right it definitely will make it harder for a young PG, especially since this team is going to be pushing hard for the playoffs again next year

Well we looked a bit better but still suck, I think when your NBA team and Dleague team are at the bottom of both of their respective leagues the system they both run is kind of a problem. We looked good when guys were cutting in the lane with it not clogged and dishing it out or dropping it off a more free flowing offense than pass it to the post and everyone stands around.

What this game and basically the season as a whole told me was we need a point guard who can attack and shoot and not have a post up offense, I'd like EP but I think him off the bench is better for him and us with one of the point guards in the draft starting. I think it may be time to move on from Vuc who I also like but the elite teams today don't run a post up offensive anymore.
