What's this nonsense I keep hearing about low shooting percentage. He literally made every shot in the video I just watched. It's the first result when you search "Cole Anthony highlights." Go see for yourself.

Call me crazy if you want, but Cole reminds me of a young Damian Lillard. He's not on his level now, might never get there, but I believe it's up to him and he has the potential. I see a lot of upside.
He would be playing with a chip on his shoulder, with a lot to prove himself and the basketball world, but he has that fire we are missing in our backcourt right now.

I’m confounded by this pick. Does this mean Fultz is gone? I was very happy with Markelle this season considering he was practically a rookie. I don’t like Cole Anthony’s personality much. Count me as among the ones disappointed.

Cole Anthony wasn't my preference, but I am not as down on him as many seem to be.

He burst onto the scene right away against Notre Dame and then was very down the rest of the way on a brutal UNC team. He has the pedigree and hopefully the drive and desire to show he is better than last year indicated. We'll see.

I get it's not what people might envision.... But that down year might have been the biggest blessing for the magic and we could have just landed a top 5 talent.

The guy is obviously wired for basketball... And it's obvious it's his passion. Happy for this pick still... Even if there might have been others I wanted.

Cole shot 41% from 3 on catch and shoot situations so he can play off ball as a spacer when he needs to.

His weaknesses, playmaking and size are complimented really well by having a backcourt mate in Fultz isn’t it ?

I mean DJ’ midget ass played with Fultz plenty last year.

I had to endure like 5 years of Jameer hate from here and a few people irl just to see us draft another Jameer.

So I am happy to take that lesson forward. 1) This board will turn on him in 6 years, even if he lands an All Star appearance or two. Same as Jameer. 2) Any injury he has, especially for a critical playoffs, will only intensify this ‘new Jameer’ hate.

I hope he blows up big time and leaves ORL. I’ll love him, but we’re not the fanbase for him (outside of basic fans).

What happened with our 2nd round pick?. 6 guys I like ( Malachi Flynn, Tre Jones, Payton Prichard, Devon Dotson, Cassius Stanley and Immanuel Quickley) as well as RJ Hampton if he keeps dropping. If we can get one of those guys.
