Cole’s personality probably bounced off well with Paolo and Franz. He probably got everyone loose and not so serious. I just wish he played better because he was the perfect guy for them.

Bane is shooting 27% from deep on 5.1 attempts per game. Both numbers WELL below what we were promised. The attempts issue is 100% a Mosley problem.

We know he's not a bad shooter. So it's either just an unfortunate ill timed slump, or the way he's being used offensively is simply not conducive to his success.

One huge mistake was signing Tyus. We could've kept Cojo and Harris for less than what he makes.

mistake? likely. Huge? Hell no. This team has much larger issues that those two wouldn't have fixed.

depends dude. It can't just be 20 games or until December. If he's 1-9 through 10 games or 3-12 through 15, you have to let him go.

Agreed.

10-15 games max.

You think we interview Thibs?

KCP and Harris are gone, JI is cooked...our C rotation is terrible, is it even possible to fix defense with our roster now?

I'm going to go on the record: Weltman is not going to let Mosley dig a hole too deep for another coach to get out of. He's not going to get himself fired for missing the playoffs after all the contender/next step talks this summer.

We're missing guard defense now, and it isn't going to get better.

121
111
110
136
135

Were allowing 122.6 ppg. This is what concerns me the most. Defense has been mosleys calling card and only reason we won games with his putrid offense. I cant explain how we can all the suddenly turn into a bad defensive team. This is concerning.

AB in his last 10 games - 9 assists. Till now it was mostly banter with eriq, but he starts to look like someone that cant be taken off the rotation without any regrets.

The eye test says the AB/Bane pairing is unplayable. That is EXTREMELY problematic.

Replacing a coach mid season is suicide. This has to happen while the season is young and we have chance to change things up early. If this road trip we go 0-4, its time.

I think you are right. They brought in Prunty and Shamgod because they already felt they needed to supplement Mosely so if we are like 1-9 or like 3-11 then yea he will sent packing and honestly he should be.

It certainly appears the massive pace increase was ill-advised at best and absolutely disastrous at worst.

Orlando Magic Pace by Year
2025-2026: 8th
2024-2025: 30th
2023-2024: 27th

That's a massive increase.

And subsequently their turnover rate offensively is way up, their defensive rebounding is down a bit, and their defense has absolutely cratered.

The most depressing play tonight IMO was actually one we hit a three on, Paolo hit a relatively open WCJ under the rim who only had to go up strong to finish it, but instead he put the ball down TWICE with three defenders around him, fumbled the ball around, and threw a terrible pass to Bane for a three.

But like why is it so difficult for some of these guys to make a simple play? Suggs is the same and I love him, if he ever taps into less is more/just being chaotic in spurts, he would be way more consistent and a threat. Sometimes he'll dribble out of an open shot or just do some extra stuff for no reason.

THis decision here is one of the main ones will get mosley fired. AB was wopping -28 today. He is NOT A PG yet we continue to use him as one.

Mosley has ditched the pace and 100% leaning back into defense. Man I don't know, you can call them out for defense all you want, but man we look like the kids they let play at halftime out there, totally disjointed on that end.

The Cavs fired David Blatt 41 games into the 2016 season, exactly at the halfway point, and went on to win the title that year.
