If this is true, then WTF Alex, this was the guy we were calling our savior ? Damn we gave him a pass because he's a business man more than a Basketball guy, but this is laughable

I agree, I just think that's the perfect example though.

It would've been too easy to pick Alford, just because that's what the fans wanted, it was a low-risk move. If it didn't work out (which it wouldn't have), then he could've easily escaped blame.

But he ignored the hype, believe in his conviction, and made the choice based on what he knew to be correct. It takes a ton of confidence to do something like that, because if Miller flopped, he would've most likely been fired.

I hear what you're saying, and I agree. But just to play devil's advocate here, Weisbrod drafted Dwight over the fan-favorite and "sure thing", Okafor.

Very true......Good point.

So am I, it's clear he's taking this personally.

He's mad at Alex Martins because he said "It was hard to fire him"? Would he prefer he said "This was an easy decision?"

He's hurt because of his brother, I understand that, but he is behaving so completely unprofessional......and then to turn around and call them unprofessional is ridiculous.

And will be an ass after it.

Well, guess we can add him to the list of Magic haters, along with Jon Barry and Kenny Smith.

Magic need to be careful not to let a great coach sign with another team just because they don't have a Orlando GM in place yet.

Not sure what BS is hearing:

Brian K. Schmitz ‏@MagicInsider
Clippers now can control L.A. if they beat the Lakers to Dwight Howard. Blake Griffin in the deal and it's done. No-brainer.

Brian K. Schmitz ‏@MagicInsider
Maybe they aren't all opinions...

So I take that to mean that the Blake trade isn't his opinion but something he is hearing from someone in the organization.

BS has been pushing for a D12 Blake trade since December. He's got nothing.

This. Even though I can see why people would now think trading Blake for Dwight would make more sense. He can't really do much more than dunk and rebound. The Spurs exposed him.

A person familiar with the situation says the Charlotte Bobcats will interview Hall of Famer Jerry Sloan on Friday for their vacant head coaching position.

I don't believed this was posted.

I would rather have Anthony Davis over Blake. You would get the entire length of the rookie contract and blake has had injuries in the past. Im not sure there is another draft prospect after Davis I would value over Blake.

I'd roll with Blake/Jordan for Dwight. It's far better than bum a55 Brook Lopez and Marshon "Swag" Brooks.

I know he's young, but I don't want any part of D. Jordan's contract.

This. completely unprofessional. I've never heard this before and that fact that he went of on Stephen A Smith's show is not surprising. As Jarrod Rudolph said the fix is on. It is clear that they are attacking the organization and everyone associated with it. The media are manipulating the situation to try and get leverage. Alex Martins has played this perfectly, and am rooting for him to pull this off and shut those **** up!

I'd rather have Anthony Davis over Blake Griffen, but Blake is certainly a better option than Brook Lopez and the 2nd or 3rd pick in the draft from the Nets.
I like this team
