Cade is a really interesting and fun prospect.

I think most people thought he was going to be some new wave big point guard like a modern day Jason Kidd or what Shaun Livingston was supposed to be before he got hurt based off some of the skills he showed in HS and AAU.

But now 20 games into his college career, it's safe to say that he really isn't that at all. And I don't mean that as a negative.

Cade really isn't *that* athletic. He rarely blows by people with speed or acceleration and he's been wildly turnover prone, but he's so far beyond what I think anyone could have reasonably expected him to be as a shooter that he's still the No. 1 prospect even though he isn't really what people thought he was going to be.

His shooting ability off the dribble is just spectacular. He's such a good shooter and such a threat to shoot that by extension it's turned him into a good isolation scorer because defenders have to play up on him so tight because he can shoot so well. He's able to get to spots he wants to get to even though he isn't a crazy explosive athletic like a Jalen Green.

Plus he's strong enough to finish and draw fouls near the rim. There's legitimate 3 level scoring potential PLUS some solidly above average passing skill there. That's the kind of skill set that gets you drafted No. 1 overall.

Cade is a generational talent. You build around guys like him. Shades of Luka with I think a better 3pt shot.

Cade pairing him with Vuc, Ross and Cole ( offensive threats ) would mask JI's offensive defeciency.

Cade with Beal is dangerous

Cade with KAT and DLO is a 3 headed offensive weapon, never mind the defense

Cade with DET and OKC.. well they are starting from scratch so Cade could just be thrown there.

Which team likely to have a top pick would be a best fit for Cade to flourish?

Where does his unique skill set fit best?

- Minny with KAT and Russell?
- Washington with Beal?

I think us and Cleveland

Cade needs the ball to maximize his talent. Putting him with the SexLand duo would mean those2 wouldn't be as effective cuz they also need the ball in their hands a lot.

Based on our inability to get a star, we should be willing to trade major draft capital for a shot at cade.

Also, don't forget the clutch gene. Guy isn't afraid to look and take the last shot of the game.

Anyhoo.. to those "glass half-empty" posters.. Zaire is playing I think. So far he is the one going down (draft stock) while Bouknight, Johnson, Moody are going up.

Earlier I had him as high as 6 but now? Maybe he drops to 10?

He's definitely not the best fit for the Magic, but I absolutely love Scottie Barnes.

If he was a better shooter, I think he'd be legitimately challenging Cunningham for the No. 1 pick.

He reminds me of Draymond Green, only bigger, more athletic and better at a younger age.

He can ball but the shooting concerns are real.

Somehow I totally forgot about current #1 pick Edwards in Minny.

Can Russell, Edwards and Cade coexist?

If so, that backcourt trio + KAT would be NUTS.

Just find a defensive anchor PF.

I disagree on the “verdict still out” comment.

He’s clearly a very good NBA player. He was the #1 pick in a bad class with no clear top prospect. So forget his draft spot. In this situation we would be talking about him as the #4 option on the team. That’s a pretty darn good option ...

How sick are you right now if you're a Wolves fan?

If their pick lands 1st, 2nd or 3rd they add a really nice piece to a young core.

If their pick lands 4th or worse, the pick ships to Golden State.

Big night for the tank!

Both the Cavs and the Wizards picked up win No. 13, matching Orlando's win total.

Kispert can really shoot the ball if we had a second pick. He looks a little like Joe Harris.
