lol dude what?

enjoy the parade team we have until the deadline.... what don't you get about the fact that:

a) unless we DO get some star or another wishlist player, dwight will leave, so what's the point?

b) Otis Smith is our gm so it isn't likely we will have any changes.

c) howard CONTINUES to seek a trade and was set on this since before the offseason.

d) I personally would rather just get our REAL team and struggle than to watch us compete with dwight only for him to leave maybe midseason and be let down.

it isn't abandonment, it's recognizing the inevitable and refusing to get on my knees for the great dwight howard. he's just a man, a human being. he isn't a god. let him go and let's get some people that TRULY love this city and want to bleed blue and white like us.

Gooden is on 6.2 this year, our TPE is 6.3. BUT, he's got 4 years, 3 after this season. So yeah, he's much worse than Duhon.

Ya that is bad. Is he capable of playing any Center?

He has split his time almost exactly 50/50 playing PF/C. He's better at PF though and his defense suffers a lot against opposing centers compared to PFs.

He did play with the Magic twice. I remember him having some hustle but don't remember too much else. Lots of promise but never really delivered more than 12/7 a game.

Keep hedo. We spend money but you have length, experience, and playmaking by having those 3 wings... Clark or liggins can be used In key defensive situations, but hedo Jrich and Jackson would be a crazy good rotation on both sides of the court.

I would probably feel more confident putting the ball in SJax's hands if we needed a bucket than Hedo or JRich. Plus, Jax can play defense.

Hedo has the potential to be a much better fit for us, but I tend to think his decline is permanent, not a passing phase.

Interesting. I'm sure FO want a vet true center for Tpe but maybe between Davis and gooden they could get the job done.

Doubt anything happens but ive got my fingers crossed.

Running out of time. TPE expires at 11:59Pm on the 18th, Sunday. I have to think we'll pick someone up unless the FO is trying to stay flexible for the summer. If that's the case, we could look for an expiring I guess.

So what is the census that Otis will use the MLE and/or the TPE? I am thinking they BOTH go unused.

I can't believe no one here is on PS3 with 2k12. I'm tired of playing against guys that pick the heat every time,

Seemed like a slow news day. Have fun at the open practice. Show your support! No booing! Also, check to make sure nba.com has the stream for our team's open practice. Night guys.

For some reason, I thought Dallas had signed Dalembert. But apparently, he's still on the market. I think he'd be a hell of a back up center. If he was interested in that role.

I brought him up in one of these 9 threads, asked if we could get him for MLE, someone said he would want more than that.
