If a deal happens within an hour or 2, I'm pretty sure the players from all sides would make it in time. and, we shouldn't gibe any of the teams time to think of the deal they're making.

nobody knew the system last year after that big trade & they started off with like 9 straight wins hahaha

Yep lol... cuz all they did was play uptempo/fast break basketball... no plays.. just instincts... get out and run, set screens, and go. With Ellis and Dwight it's pretty simple... inside-out and high screen and roll... and when the going gets tough... give Ellis the ball to create and step aside.

That would be utterly stupid, if one of the players got hurt in the trade the deal is dead, over, no way u do this

I'm not a big twitter user... I have one but hardly log on it... anyone want to tweet Berger and push him for more info? Although he might not know anymore than we do... he's really pushing this deal... it has to be true, I hope.

We all totally breezed over this last paragraph and the title of Berger's article

The most difficult aspect of Bogut going to Golden State in the three-team scenario that would send Ellis to Orlando is Howard's apparent reluctance to commit one way or the other by Thursday's 3 p.m. ET deadline. Even if Howard decided he wanted to stay in Orlando, it's likely that he would opt out of his $19.5 million contract for next season anyway and test free agency, when he could get a five-year deal from Orlando as opposed to a four-year deal with one of his top two choices, the Nets or Mavericks.

If that's the case, and the other teams are more or less on board, this comes down to Orlando's front office basically going all in. We know Dwight is not signing a contract until the summer. It's a risk. This seems to be worth it though.

Ye, common sense is to do the trade before a game, even if it guarantees you a loss.

Don't know who was watching NBATV but Sekou Smith said he heard of a possible trade between ATL and Lakers involving Josh Smith and Pau Gasol

+1 thinking the same. If something is going to happen (and it doesn't even have to be the deal being officially done)... it's got to happen tonight or in the morning... Maybe get a hand shake agreement, sit out our players, and finalize the deal after the game.

I also dropped 4000 drops of knowledge in the speculation thread. Not posting Raj numbers, but we're contributing.
