i dont like that move for charlotte, your paying a 6th man $13mil a year? charlotte needs to stop with getting tweeners

of course gordon will have a better impact than magette, but not a fan

Charlotte gets a future pick and a massive expiring after this season. Not a great trade, but I see why they did it.

Yeah but Maggette was giving Charlotte nothing in games... Gordon maybe overpaid and undersized for his abilities... but he's younger (by 5 years) and can give Charlotte more offensively at SG (Ben used to avg 20ppg in Chicago... Corey isn't going to avg 20ppg anymore, he's declined)... and Charlotte gets a future 1st round pick in the deal... good deal for Charlotte imo. Plus their contract lengths are only 1 year apart.

At the end of the day you have to ask yourself... what could Charlotte have really gotten for Maggette? Not much tbh... so I'm surprised they even got Gordon.

Vet min? ... Hell yeah... dude is really old, but he's still putting up good scoring numbers. Can be a nice addition to the bench imo, especially if we aren't retaining Ryan Anderson at the 4.

yea but gordon is pushing 30 and hasn't averaged over 14pts since 2008-2009, maggette also had a higher PER last year (high eyriq

) and scored more...

but like i said gordon should have a higher impact than maggette, and at the time of my 1st post i didn't realize charlotte also got a 1st round pick, which does help the deal..
