He makes 9.5 mil and over 10 next season so it's been tough.

I'm 100% sure bbd contract could be easily moved for picks or young talent without having to dump him on Houston.

Just listened to Marc Stein on Sportscenter... we just honestly have to wait for the Scola amnesty, & Lin/Asik offer sheets to be matched (or not matched)... it will take a few days... sigh

After that this deal is going down most likely

Ah, I see.

If they cut Scola, the Rockets don't are still over $20 million under the minimum salary needed to field a team. That may be hard to do if they don't get Dwight.

A new part up since I checked in. Scrolled through and from what I gather still nothing concrete and Scola still not amnestied, and the Rockets may get Asik after all.

grrrr waiting, waiting, WAITING....

I agree, but maybe that's why we would get Jones+Parsons+White+Lamb... one of them is already for BBD.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I also hope we do the trade with Houston. And I hope Rob isn't dumb enough to hire Jacque Vaughn. Malone or Shaw!

People are judging Jacque's headcoaching abilities by his playing skills, it's not right...

For some reason he was Stockton's backup for a long time and then Pop brought him to be his assistant.

If you go to the Houston Rockets Twitter page, in the last 2 hours they just added the following players they are now following.

https://twitter.com/#!/HoustonRockets/following

Hedo
BBD
JRich
Duhon
Dwight Howard

That is 46.5 million in players salary.
Even if they sign Lin and Asik, but trade us the rest of their roster the deal still works under the cap.

Someone on the Rockets board put it up and he was laughed at saying they follow LeBron and Durant too. NOT TRUE. They only follow their players, Journalist, sportscasters and other TEAMS.

This would mean the only bad deal on the books is QRich. I could see QRich being a solid guys to keep around. Maybe even one we could trade later for future picks or promising player if he steps in to the starting lineup and performs like we know he can.

Looks like the deal is done. No way they amnesty Scola without the deal in the bag.

Sort of old news. They started following them around 10-11 PM last night. Scola isn't yet amnestied. All signs are pointing to a deal, but let's not jump the gun yet.

Thats a starting (5) right there.

Hedo
BBD
JRich
Duhon
Dwight Howard

Call them the Houston Magic.

That is no better than the Magic.

Dwight must really hate Orlando if he goes there.

Little ESPN Radio on SVP Show-

Dwight/Turk/Duhon/JRich/GDavis. Complete financial do-over. Amnesty Scola. Waive 7 players. Hope both contract offers get matched. Trade everyone they just drafted. 2 future draft picks.

Biggest bet ever made in the NBA. Why do this if Dwight said he doesn't want to be in Houston? Ryan loves it. Here's why you do it. "Stuck. Unlucky. GM did a good job getting decent pieces but this team isn't going to do anything as constructed. Without a top 5 player, you don't have a shot. Morey thinks he can get Dwight to stay. Dwight has been so schitzo, teams think he can be swayed. He can be tricked. Staying like we are means nothing at all, so it's not a risk per se."

"If Dwight says, I'm out next summer, the club is toast. Hey, Chris Duhon is still here! But, most of the guys they're waving are nothing special."

The thing is they get all those players but have no one else on the cap. They'd have 10 million in cap space after taking all 5 of our guys, which I don't think they do, they don't take 1 of either J-Rich/Hedo/Davis, so you're talking about having 15+ million in space to sign a PG and others. Plus their exceptions.
