If you want to do a spec thread cause you think it would be cool to be part of that tradition, feel free, but keep in mind that it will need to be formatted according to certain established parameters. If you throw up what can only be described as a very poor thread it will not be received well, and honestly I can't imagine why you'd want to do so in the first place. "

That is from mod eyriq for all you who look up to these mods thinking that they are the end all be all. See on RealGM there is a way to conform or don't post at all.

So eryiq DO NOT PM me again and try to school me on how to properly post a pretty thread.

This post reminds me of a bit that Norm MacDonald used to doin his stand-up routine, it goes something like this (It's a little dated, but the key message still applies):

"So somebody shot the Pope. The POPE! I mean, if you're going to assassinate someone, why pick the Pope of all people? I can only imagine what his explanation must have been: I want to go to Hell, and I don't want to have to wait in line."

He is 24 years old and came into the league at 17...obviously he has some growing up to do. Dwight Howard was thought to be a "good attitude" guy and Shaq was thought to be a "bad attitude" guy, look how that turned out.

Is that you Andrew Bynum?

The reason it's being discussed is because of the Tweets/Wiretap articles about them talking about to us about D12.

Who else would they send over? As far as I know, they don't have picks, young talent, etc..

Honestly, the only dude in the league I can think of with worse body language than Andrew is Daniel Orton of the Magic, but that just may be his face, I dunno.

The problem is there are very few brain surgeons that are working as NBA superstars in their spare time.

Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. If Bynum told him he was looking forward to coming to Orlando and doing everything possible to help the team win a championship, my guess is Henny would take him.

Why do we not want a guy who doesn't join huddles because he is “getting my Zen on.”? You people can't be satisfied.

No that article is just funny.. in a league where stars get DUIs, have tons of illegitimate children, gun charges, etc reading a playboy and parking in handicapped spots screams bad attitude?

Phil Jackson once raved about Bynum's intelligence and his enthusiasm to understand how things work.. Maturity is something you grow into. Intelligence is something you have or do not. (See: Dwight Howard)

Is that you JJ Barrea?

I'm not sure if I'd have a great attitude myself if I was the most gifted offensive center in the league, yet I was only getting 12 shots per game. Definitely reaching there buddy.

That must be why he shoved Barea in mid air potentially ending his career. He just didn't get enough shots.

Yeah, but that's not about getting shots. It's something that happened in the heat of the moment. Not his best moment without a doubt, but everybody makes mistakes. I mean, look at Dwight, the paragon of virtue, leaving illegitimate kids in his wake and trashing his franchise. Bynum would be worse...?

Mark Spears was on 710 Espn reporting that Dwight seems to be warming up to playing in LA.

Yes, we don't want Bynum because he didn't join a huddle once, obviously.

And I hate all of those players, let me know when we can get a Duncan or nowitzki type.

And win? Very, very low percentage of that actually happen.

Right but my point is that this isn't the only douche thing he has done. You can take 2 seconds to google him and find all sorts of ****. If you have been listening to what Rob has been saying, he won't trade for this guy.

I want to win a championship within the next 5 years. Which realistic trade gives us the best chance to do that?

I don't really know. Personally, I hope we blow it all up and trade with Houston.

I think we all know what you hope happens

Bynum is the best retooling option.. Rockets are the best rebuilding option. I would be happy with either.

IMO you shouldn't rebuild when you have the option of retooling, but its up to Henny.
