Thanks for that info. I think I am back on the Noel bandwaggon, sorry bmp. With Bledsoe, Noel or maclemore. Without Bledsoe, Burke or dipo. I'm also hoping (not to set up gm Henny for failure) but that we can snag another pick somehow. I like Henny as a talent evaluator.

I didn't catch that part. Thanks for the clarification.

After so much videos, interviews, analysis that everyone has been putting up on these threads, deciding who i thought we should get has been a nightmare, i keep chopping and changing. But ive decided i really want us to get CJ McCollum.

Oladipo to me has such a Wade hard on that it is just nagging away at me for some reason to the point ive decided i dont want him. Noel doesnt seem to me like the sort of player that will make that much of an impact and feels overhyped.

But McCollum just seems to tick every box, and his character is incredible. That intelligence of the game is going to make him one hell of a player. Fingers crossed....

this game was the highlight of the season for me. Absolutely loved Harris. which brings up a point. Harris is a player who likes to have the ball and so is dipo. would we have a clash having them both on the floor. as much as i like dipo im thinking Ben would be a better match to play Ray Alen type of ball.

Ledo saying he watches a bunch of film on...Penny, Jamal Crawford, Joe Johnson, & Durant.

Mostly watches Penny but knows he resembles Joe Johnson a lot.

8-) 8-) 8-)

Really wish we would've brought him in for a workout.

I am wondering how come no one in the media is talking about this and how this affect Cle possibly selecting him #1 since those are the rumors.

So they are making fun because they 2 guys that can go top 4 can't even walk right at the moment lol. I am feeling queasy lol.

I'm really hoping they go Noel or Dipo if thats the case.

The Len and Cleveland thing was likely a smokescreen.

huh....So, why would Cleveland, who picks first, need a smokescreen again?

They don't need a smokescreen, they need a billboard saying "This guy is amazing, trade up to get him or we'll take him".

First decent trade rumble of draft week: Deng to Wiz in deal for No. 3 pick? It's been explored.

Why not just take Porter and have the same guy but younger? Maybe if he's off the board by 3.

All good! Think of this:

Very skinny legs and two serious injuries in the last 4 years to just one of those legs.

Already, he had very little lower body strength.

Now, after sitting out a year with very little he can do to strengthen either leg, all of a sudden he is going to have strong legs and go against NBA bigs.

Sorry, I doubt it ever happens? The odds are so against Noel being an impact player, but more of a role player off the bench. You don't waste a top pick on such a high risk. Henny is not that stupid.

I actually like that trade for Chicago. They get (probably) Porter and Okafor can give Chicago some quality minutes

kind of seems like a downgrade though since the bulls need to be winning now. porter, if he ever gets to deng's level won't get there for a few years.

Does Chicago then target McLemore/Oladipo for their future 2?

Butler could probably step in at the 3 spot for them.

Would combo Bledsoe+Ben better than trey+AA?

Bledsoe is already a capable NBA PG; one of the toughest jobs in sports. Burke has no experience and is years from being NBA capable. The Afflalo vs. McLemore is a flip of the last sentence, but in a job that is less hard. So overall, yes, I would rate Bledsoe and McLemore as superior to Burke and Afflalo.

League source: three veterans who are candidates to be in deals leading up to, or during NBA draft are the Bulls' Luol Deng, Pacers' Danny Granger and Blazers' Lamarcus Aldridge. The Cavs apparently have interest in Deng and he certainly would be a terrific role model and leader-by-example for a young squad; the Cavs also have a gaping hole at that position and if they have interest in vying for a playoff spot next season, a rookie out of this draft isn't going to move them appreciably closer. That said, there is skepticism that the Cavs are actually serious about parting with the No. 1 pick because they keep asking for assets as if it were the first pick in next year's draft.

Kinda agree, but I don't think the Bulls should only look at veterans to win.

For now it may be a downgrade, but for the future it could be a nice core with Rose/Butler and whoever they draft now .. And Noah's only 28 so he can still have a long career with the Bulls too

Rose/McLemore/Butler/Gibson/Noah

May not be a bad younger group going forward.
