Glad we've made a move. I think Bill Laimbeer should be looked at as well for the coaching job. I'm ok with Skiles but don't feel he's the long term answer.

We will still suck because its past halfway in the season and its way to late to start with fresh system. But JV needed to get fired for his incompetence, you need to show the players that we are serious and we expect more out of what we have so far. Its obvious the players don't care much for him anyway.

interesting fact that I forgot: Magic interviewed Malone before hiring Vaughn 3 years ago, and passed over him.

Magic passed on Stan for Donovan then ended up having to get him last minute. Stan ended up becoming by far our best coach ever. So looks like the thing we should do next time is pass on the #1 guy and then hire the #2 guy lmao. Dont trust that first instinct Magic brass lol.

I think Vaughn is on a level at the bottom by himself. That's the good news... we can probably bring anybody notable in and still see improvement.

I wouldn't be opposed to just finishing out the season with Borrego, giving the Magic time to both properly interview coaching candidates and give a new head coach a full offseason to work with the team.

It would make sense if the magic promote the skiles assistants from Erie to the two vacant spots then hire skiles and out borrrgo back at assistant.

People don't like skiles because he coached Harris in Milwaukee and benched his ass because he couldn't defend. They're using the excuse that Skiles played here as the reason why the FO is considering him saying its based on PR instead of actual coaching ability which is absured considering how well his teams have done in the past. People are also soft and worried about Tobias's feelings, they're scared of the big mean coach to. He's also a hot head and he's probably not a long term solution but I think a big fire needs to be lit under this teams collective ass...Take that back and inferno.
