is Lethal Shooter going to be coming to Orlando as well as a shooting coach? I believe he did some work with Cole and Markelle....make sense if it's case

He could be THE offensive maestro for us that every serious team has to lead them in the POs

An offensive maestro who doesn't shoot 3s is no offensive maestro. He loves taking the dumbest shots in the game. Midrange pull ups. ...only other thing he does it hit banker 2s unless there is an easy dunk. He's got the offensive game of a Center, but doesn't have the defensive game that you want from your Center.

Didn't you say Fultz is your favorite player on the team?

Never called him an offensive maestro

Have you watched the Duke games? He shoots 3s just not the same frequemcy as JS. He takes what the defense gives him. He doesnt just drive and.take a jumpshot. He punishes the smaller, slower guys.on.him.

Look i undwrstand you may be upset that we didnt get " your" guy.. but no reason to put down others.

Right now Banchero is that player. I watched a lot of film trying to convince myself that Jabari was our guy, outside of that sweet shooting I did not see it. Time will tell but we got a good player with lots of confidence

Yeah, but sweet shooting is not only a thing that we’re missing (and would be a great fit) but a sought after skill in the NBA. I am not a clairvoyant but somewhere in our future we HAVE to get a shooter.

You’re right, time will tell, I just hope we drafted the right player with this pick.

Has nothing to do about passing on Jabari or Chet. They had their warts too. But at least they possessed qualities that modern NBA teams value.

I wont fuel the fire of your frustration. We all know who you wanted. But lets be honest, if Jabari was 3 inches shorter, shooting 42% from the field, he probably wouldn't even crack the top 10. You dont just LEARN how to handle the ball after college and dude probably has like a 30 inch vert max

Shooters are not that hard to get on the market. Seth Curry was cheap. Size and ball handling with good decision making are very expensive. We have Harris and Cannady and Ross who can shoot. We can trade for Fournier and get more assets ;p
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Who on this team fits around Banchero?

Fultz, Suggs, Hampton have to go.
Cole has a decent 3pt trigger, but tries to do too much.
Franz, Bachero and Carter will all compete for drives and touches within the paint.

I guess Bamba is a good fit now. Welcome back Bamba haters!

I also hate the fit but Banchero is definitely a great prospect with a good chance to become the best player in the draft, his footwork and feel for the game are special, a lot depends on his outside shot which I'm sceptical about, hopefully he proves me wrong.

And Paolo doesn't? I just watched these POs and saw guys like Tatum, Butler, Luka lead their teams. One thing they have in common is their ability to handle the ball and create for themselves and others. Something only Paolo has shown glimpses of on the top 3 choices.

PB has the potential to be a nightmare matchup....too fast and shifty for the bigger guys, he'll face up those guys all day long....put a smaller guy on him and it's BBQ chicken in the post, he has great footwork for a 19 year old....If he's doubled he keeps his head up at all times so he can see the defense and make the right pass as he's a willing passer....obviously he needs to make the most improvement on the defensive end but he has all the tools and has shown flashes to be really good defensively if he wants to....the kid is a weapon, finally i feel like we got our bucket getter

It's the weirdest built team ever.

Orlando's Rebuilding Plan... Duplicating talent everywhere and hoping it fits and doesn't sink.

Our guys are so young...we don't KNOW...that's the thing. Fultz/Suggs can't BOTH play in the backcourt if one of them can't shoot it...but that was going to be the case whether we drafted Paolo or JSJ. WCJ and Franz both look like they shoot it well enough and they are both young enough that they can certainly get better.

Clearly the best player in college basketball, with Murray being in that conversation as well. This guy is built like a coke machine and is only 19. He is going to bully the NBA. Can’t wait
