If Suggs starts it shouldn't be PG, he's clearly not comfortable or particularly even good as a playmaker. But if his shot just becomes average + his defense he's already insanely valuable whether it's minutes starting or off the bench.

Fultz on pace for a triple double despite not shooting well.

The thing is, Suggs can really pass. I think he's a better passer than Fultz or Anthony candidly.

He just struggles so badly as a ball handler, he can't really consistently get to his spots. It's hard to be a PG when you can't dribble.

Honestly, I’m happy with the Cole + Suggs pairing for now. It may not be perfect yet (or ever) but I’m fine with giving them more minutes and opportunities to continue to develop. I prefer that over overspending on a FA guard.

Yeah, I should rephrase it, he can pass and he's really good at identifying those long outlet passes as well, but the ball-handling and tempo controlling leaves a lot to be desired. If he worked hard on that during the offseason he could change my mind but it's way too much of a rollercoaster as a main ball handler.

This analysis has proven to be spot on just in the last few plays. Great job
