Yeah, I noticed that. I really hope they don’t do that in the actual tournament.

Why not? Gives us more options and make him grow as a player rather than making him a pure PF.

If Team USA is facing a midget team ( like a 6'6-6'8 Centers) Im fine to see it. Might even give Paolo the confidence to be aggressive down-low.

It might work offensive but defensively is where I have a problem. It’s his rim protection and rebounding that I feel will be a negative.

Don't have a problem with it in spots, it would help him in a sense to be more physical than he's been....but i see it more of a cop out, let's play him at center because he's big.....his playstyle is anything but a center, he's a big guard and i think that is where his lane is....he's not webber....that said though maybe it will help him add some more physical aspects to his game, there were some times this past season where i wished he went harder instead of finesse

Only from watching the second half of Germany vs Sweden...
Franz kept it slow, but still had his impact on both sides of the court (15P/5R/4A in 25 minutes).
Moe played well. Was very active on the boards and made a living from the free throw line (8/10 FT). Ended with 12 points and 9 boards in 19 minutes.

The NBA app have a longer clip but I can’t seem to find a link. So glad that he get to be around these guys and grow with them.

I hope Franz is enjoying himself as well.

The clip you chose to show bad defense by Paolo is actually a travel by the player he is guarding lol

There is no travel in the NBA. :)

Touché lol

Completely out of his basketball character...he's more like a huge 2 or 3 than a C (in the way that he plays). I don't see it - unless there's an entire, somewhat wild scheme experiment (which is kind of exciting) that attempts to revolutionize bball around a whole new kind of athlete. Would certainly be intriguing to see him get 6 apg from down low (like a kind of Jokic)...maybe it will at least explore some new skills.

I'm skeptical, but go test it on Team USA time first.

This is great for Paolo, it doesnt matter if he ever plays any minutes at center in the NBA, this experience is still beneficial for him.

I might be late but from the few clips I saw against the select team Paolo played really well.

Anyone without cable, how are you streaming Fox Sports?
