Guys, Da Silva is legit good. No idea how he fell that far. He will be a pro for a long time.

Yeah, I'm usually pretty down on mid to late first but his college film is pretty impressive. For example I just couldn't get behind Chuma from day 1. His film just didn't pop. TDS has a lot of tools and a high BBIQ.

I actually thought Chuma's film was very good. I really liked him as a prospect.

But for whatever reason he just bizarrely decided to completely overhaul his jumper from what looked like a very easy and repeatable smooth motion in his final college season to this truly awful flingy one-hand shot before his rookie season.

Not surprisingly he was never able to make enough threes with his new janky form and is now out of a job.

Plus I'm not sure his athleticism and explosiveness, which were never great strengths to begin with, ever got back to their college levels after the torn ACL.

If Chuma was like a 40% 3PT shooter instead of sub 32%, he'd be a pretty valuable 3&D forward. But you can't be 3&D without the 3 part.

He gave me 'less talented Jabari Parker' tweener vibes and I just wasn't a fan. I get why the magic took the chance on him though. That draft wasn't very deep.
