he would fit in greatly here, his defense isnt the best, but it's not pedestrian either...and his pick and roll ability is like, flawless...

Also, you have to think Memphis would prefer our package. Trading your star player within your conference is never something you want to do.

I'm pretty disappointed right now.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Getting Miller would be amazing. I never wanted to see him gone in the first place.

We didnt have enough expirings to make the Gasol deal. Gasol is making near $20 mill. It would have been alot more complicated for Memphis had they made the deal with us.

Aaron Mackie is a decent pickup if he un-retires. Good locker room presence. But the draft picks are going to be mid to high teens at the very best.

Grizzlies getting Kwame Brown

The Memphis Grizzlies will send Pau Gasol and a future second-round pick to the Lakers for Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, the unofficially retired Aaron McKie , the draft rights to Pau Gasol's brother Marc and future first-round picks in 2008 and 2010, NBA front-office sources told ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

It is believed that the Lakers would need to arrange a sign-and-trade for McKie to make the salary cap math work for the deal. McKie is not currently playing in the NBA but his rights are owneed by the Lakers.

Memphis wouldn't have traded our scrubs for Gasol.

We're not Lakers. It's obvious that it's a trade to get them in the finals against the Celtics.

Wow. This trade just made LA serious championship contenders. I cant think of a better frontcourt than Pau and Bynum right now. Then you add Kobe to the mix and you got yourself a championship team.

Pau makes $13,709,375 this year and $49.35 million over the next three years (HoopsHype - Memphis Salary - 2/01/08 )

The Lakers have to sign Aaron McKie to a deal about $3.35 Million to equal Pau's salary with Kwame and JC's contracts.

The BIG winner here is Aaron McKie. He is making 3 million by sitting on his ass at home. LOL.

Pat G, Arroyo, KeDo and Augustine would work.

But who'd be our backup PG? When Jameer is out, who is our starting PG?
