Matty Boi --
If you believed in anything on this team, you would be a lot easier to believe. You haven't said a single decent thing about this team in all of your time on this board. There is not a player you haven't ripped. All you do is rip management. All you do his spread hate and negativity. Everyone wants to win a championship. But most people understand it's not going to happen overnight. You're acting like if you stomp your feet and pitch a temper tantrum and they give you everything you want, that is going to bring a championship.

Lol im seriously not even trying to sound like that.
Im just putting my views out there and stating what i know.
I like ALOT of things about the team.
I love hedo, DWIGHT, rashard except his contract, dooling, evans, jameer just not as a starter, and a guy we are really missing battie, i love his game.
A main thing i dont like is what otis is doing and what is not doing, our attitude and view towards winning, just like someone else stated theres too much smiling, teams dont take us seriously.
Look at the lakers, they had a better record than us and still wanted to get better.
Kobe and the lakers werent complacent with just being a playoff team, so they made some moves. Lakers fans are just loving it.

You might just be saying what you think, but all of it is bad. You have ripped all those guys you said you like, and I've never seen you say a positive thing about them.
And if you believe Otis every time he says that he likes the roster as it is, then you know nothing about the way GMs operate. GMs never come out and say, "Yeah, I'm looking to get rid of my players.'' Do you think any of them on any team would play if their GMs said that? Did you hear a peep from L.A. before they traded for Gasol about making a deal? No.
Lakers have an unfair advantage. Not every team has the opportunity to get those kinds of deals The league and the powers within the league (including Jerry West) make sure they get whatever they want to keep them good. Do you think there's any coincidence that the Lakers and Celtics made the biggest ripoff trades of the year? No, they are the most storied franchises in history. The league is invested in keeping those teams good and boosting them if they fall off for a time. Wouldn't they just love it if they had another Lakers-Celtics final -- another Bird vs. Magic. The problem with their theory is...you can't go back again. The league is different now, but they try and lean on what worked in the past as long as possible.

Lol i dunno man thats your opinion...I tend to agree even though rigging the league seems very farfetchedd.
Point is though the lakers were not happy with being in the middle of the pack and we shouldnt either.
Anyways, my fantasy dream come true sequence that would put us over the top, and you guys can rip me all u want, is
Prying miller and lowry from memphis for expirings.
and pulling in calderon for the MLE and a starting job.
Or....
Making a deal for Andre Miller for expirings.
And pulling Maggette or Childress with MLE and a starting job.

I think mattyboi means well, he just doesn't get the big picture. This team has overachieved. We are young and haven't even geled yet with Shard in the fold. This team is built to contend for titles 2 years from now, not now. Now is for Phoenix, San Antonio, Boston, and Detroit...but where will those teams be in 2 years. IMO, behind us. Teams win titles by thinking ahead and seeing the big picture.
All this Rashard hate is near (Please Use More Appropriate Word). The guy leads the league in 3's. Who cares what he makes, he is helping us win and the money doesn't come out of our pockets. Let the needless hating go.

He is a starter for sure, and the Raps are already paying TJ Ford over 10 mil. a year for 3 more years.
I dunno if they can afford that.
Now why does this seem familiar
Oh yeah:

I guess i just wont be totally happy until we are respected contenders.
What if we're disrespected contenders? What difference will it make?
Does the NY Giants' SuperBowl title become meaningless because they were 2 TD underdogs?

Disregarding the messenger, it is tough to argue that our scouting doesn't suck big time and that our players do not listen a whole lot.
Overall the organization has not been good BUT at least we spend cash.
I also feel like we are pretty damn close as is. Need a PF badly though.
FWIW, I hears SAS say on national TV, "Any team that has Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis and SVG is dangerous, period!"
whatever,,...i do wish they would hire some decent scouts and put Otis out of his misery.

"And with Dwight, he's Moses Malone at 22, Shaq at 22 and Tim Duncan.
