It is like idiots on parade.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.
"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part VIII)
As i said a few days ago, i'm already past Dwight. Dude is a whiny bi-polar bitch and needs to be traded for the best deal possible. I'm trying to understand what the Magic has done to him so bad that he hates the franchise like this. But hey, it was fun while it lasted. Time to move on. Orlando still needs a championship banner. Lets build a team that will get the job done. Right now the Lakers have been upstaged by the Clippers and i know that's gotta be stuck in their craw. I think Orlando Golden State and LA would make great trade partners. Curry, Udoh,Bynum+Cap space would be great compensation for Dwight.

We should all go outside Dwight's house and blare this all night while he is trying to sleep.

Let him go where he wants, Lebron and Wade will ruin his life every year.. All you need is a scrub like Jason Collins to flop and Dwight becomes useless

I will say this: I believe that Dwight Howard wants a trade. And I believe he will be traded eventually.

**** him. GO MAGIC!
In all fairness, Josh has been saying this for a while now. Don't think it is a reflection of any new developments.

Sucks man.
that's what pisses me off the most. We didn't even get to enjoy a single year of a completely developed prime Dwight after waiting years for him to develop... its like we're a farm club...

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part VIII)
Boy has the mood changed in this thread. Twitter is easily the worst/greatest thing to happen to sports journalism. Things can change from day to day which is apparent in this ongoing thread so to me, Dwight is still on the Magic and he will be here for the foreseeable future despite all the trade rumors/requests.
I would prefer to hold onto him and see what this team can do first before fielding offers. When I watched his interview, he just looks like a guy that is extremely frustrated with this whole situation and he honestly does not have a clue on what he wants to do. His comments do seem like he is still engaged with his teammates which is a good sign. It's a day to day approach and most of you guys/girls should take a deep breath and just relax.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part VIII)
Really though, play out the season, do not trade him. This team can win 45 games and get to the ECF, and pay Dwight $30 million more than any other team. I know that LBJ left Cleveland to take less money in Miami, but really Orlando is not Cleveland. Unless the LBJ fade is just too damn appealing to Dwight and he needs that super star companion, in which case he'll go where ever another superstar is for less money. Even what NOH or Denver got isn't really a solid replacement, as Gordon will never be a franchise player to build around and it is much more probable than not that the Minny pick won't net one either. Denver is in an even worse situation as they are too good for their own good but not good enough to win it all. So their rebuild is suspended for YEARS. I don't want that for Orlando. Go all in for a Dwight centric team and if he leaves he leaves and we blow it up and rebuild. Now really NOH had to trade Chris Paul cause they flat out sucked; they weren't going to contend with their talent and CP3 wasn't going to stick around for a rebuilding project. Orlando though, well we aren't there. Yes we lost to Atlanta in the first round but that isn't indicative of what an Otis/SVG product built around Dwight does. And really we barely freaking lost that craptastic series. I also know that Cleveland had a very, very good team too and LBJ just left them in the dust, so it is possible that Orlando is in the exact same predicament as Cleveland and will lose Dwight regardless. Grrrrr

Wow this sucks.... what a jerk man. He shouldn't get a single cheer if he ever comes back here. I've watched him grow since he was a rookie into a star. But I also watched him grow from a great kid into a whiny douchebag.

I share your sentiments and I really hope that Orlando stands firm and does whatever they can to convince him to stick around.

I agree mostly, but think he's not undecided. He is more agitated that it's not going the way he thought. It's one thing to watch Bron go through it, but to be in it with all the press pulling at you, and the fans, and the erroneous reports, and the pressure of sponsors/endorsers-- he wants it over. What's funny is that he needs to realize this is what it will be like in NY when he does anything they don't like, or if he doesn't win immediately.
I do wonder about the team, but then again most of them know the deal and don't blame him. I remember when Varejao held out and Lebron had a "get your money" attitude about it and was not even upset. These players are unified and don't give a dang about these organizations for the most part.
