I got a feeling Rob is going to start the rebuild process during draft nite. If Rob does not get the appropiate answer from Dwight he is gonna start gutting the team fast.

Drummond might be available at #5 too, but if we got him that might be a signal of a Dwight trade.

For sure. I think he'll be a great GM.

I know I shouldn't pay attention to it, but this tweet really pissed me off
Brian K. Schmitz@MagicInsider
If it's true (ESPN) that it's either Mavs or Nets for Deron Williams, then he apparently will play with Dirk or Dwight.

It's just unbelievable how much those crap reporters want Dwight to leave so they can sell papers ..

While I too hate Schmitz...What he's saying isn't untrue there....If the Nets can pull off a deal for Dwight, he'll stay in NJ. If they can't, he goes to Dallas. Therefore he's going to either play with Dirk or Dwight. With that said, I wouldn't lose any sleep if the Orlando Sentinel fired him.

The Nets ship sailed a long time ago. No way the Magic deal him to the Nets for Marshon "Swag" Brooks. They've go no trade pieces. It's out of the question. Either Schmitz realizes this and is just trying to stir the pot among his followers (a la Skip) or he's really just clueless.

Jarrod Rudolph is saying that he has a "hunch" that Hennigan won't meet with Dwight at all.

If this turns out to be the truth, it's about damn time that someone took charge in this organization and stopped Dwight from single handily hijacking it.

Do you think a Howard n Drummond front court could work?

I think everyone is pretty convinced Dwight is a goner. I honestly think he is gonna be moved.

Honestly I would not be suprised. He is new to the organization so he has no emotional attachment to Dwight. To be honest we cannot be catering to Dwight's needs like he wants.

I wonder if Orlando still has the option to pawn J-Rich off to the Wolves for Williams or Beasley

At the corner of Wekiva Springs Rd. and 436, in Apopka, there's a billboard of Rob Hennigan saying "Welcome Rob Hennigan" or something like that with the Magic logo. I'd take a picture of it but its rainy and dark outside. It's pretty cool.

There is no way they will give up #2 pick in last year's draft but Beasley is a restricted FA.

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
#Orlando #Magic have fired Asst. GM Dave Twardzik and at least 4 scouts, the @orlandosentinel has learned.

Not supprising, Rob probably walked in and looked around and laughed to himself in disbelief

I heard somewhere that the Magic are disgusted with Dwight as a leader. Let him go to NJ and rot with Deron if that's what he wants. I will go the Dan Gilbert route and guarantee a championship before he gets one in Jersey .Personally I'd like to see us go in a new direction. We need some leaders on this team with heart. Players that will go all out on the court. I personally don't want any player that does not want to be here. Sayanora Dwight.

Damn, that was fast. 4 scouts too? I wonder what this says about our draft day plans. Twardzik was running the show this entire time for the draft. I know Henny has been following it too, and I wonder what he has in mind for the 19th.

That is probably an accurate portrayal of what occured.

Good we got rid of our crappy scouts, and how did Twardzik stay employed by the Magic for so long? Mr Irrelevant.
