I'm laughing and throwing up at the same time. Can you think about what you're typing and where you're trying to post it to before you actually hit the "Submit" button? That would be the logical thing to do.

Agreed. WTF was that

All these people that were scoffing at some of these deals and are now calling for them to get done make me scratch my head. Did you not realize what kind of position we were in before?

Well I've been saying we have been wasting time and waiting too long. Patience is not this organizations best friend. That being said Rob Hennigan still has my support. I'm neutral until we hire a coach, sign somebody new, or something... just something..

Actually surprised he wants to go to the Lakers after Shaq has been clowning him relentlessly about copying everything he does.

He'll always be behind Wilt, Kareem and Shaq if he goes there.

If that wiretap story is correct then it's a joke that we didn't take a plan to improve to him.

And why are Turk and JRich still on the team!?!?!? Cut them if you have to. Just get us some players with some heart.

Any Houston trade would be a 3 way with Dwight going to the Lakers and Bynum going to Houston. That's not really news.

I don't even want Dwight here so this news doesn't really hurt me, but he is gonna sabotage any trade that's not with the Lakers or Nets. So we're ****.

Hennigan informed Howard that he didn’t have any deals in the works and wasn’t quite sure how to respond to what he was told, according to sources. Hennigan was noncommittal on any of the discussed scenarios as the meeting ended.

there is no way you let him walk or even come to camp, this will be a circus till he is gone, The Magic can not move forward with Howard on team.

Nelson is a face the casual fans can cheer for as this team faces an obvious reconstruction. That adds to his value, we are not players in free agency next summer. Dwight does not want to be here and never was going to recruit people to come. He and his team will kill the Houston deal value, with all the comments about running to Dallas. He has screwed the Magic out of the chance to do 1 deal that blows this entire team up.

Henny has a new team that can draft and thier skills will be tested in this mess. I am giving him at least 3 years to clear up the diaster Otis left behind.

GO MAGIC!!

+1

I'll also add all the people saying Nelson's contract ruins cap space are just making it up. In all the detail-rich cap projections we made, most posters accounted for Ryan or Nelson resigning and minor re-signings/TO's, some amount of cap space around 7-10mil reserved in the projections and still coming out with 14-25 mil cap space depending on other maneuvers like Stretch/Cut and only 0-1 trades occurring. This is all pretty moot tho, no sane rebuilding team, much less a Henny led FO, is gonna blow max cap space to try to recrease the loss of a talent like Dwight immediately.

I'm sorry to say it, but this team is a joke right now and we aren't heading in the right direction.

If he early on expressed no desire to return, why would we tell him our plans?

They need picks and clear cap space by taking back 1 yr contracts...

Rockets only team can do this...

However... by dragging this on Howard is only reducing value...

Howard/JR/duhon for

Martin/Morris/Douglas (maybe Lamb) + some picks... is best offer rockets will offer...

I'll tell Houston to go F themselves with that offer. Rather take Bynum and dare him to walk away from that extra 30 million.

I'm thinking Lamb, D-Mo, KMart and a couple picks would suit me fine. I think the TOR pick is guaranteed to be in the lottery 'someday', and I for one think Houston is going to be AWFUL even after trading for Dwight. I mean...Jeremy Lin would be their #2 option? Dwight's gonna be totally disengaged, even if he doesn't fake a back injury. Their pick, plus our pick, plus maybe TOR if they aren't as solid as I think they will be...makes for a fun draft next year.

And to all of you Hennigan apologists...i'd be right there with you if not for the Jameer signing. Straight garbage, that was. Badly shook my confidence in our new GM.

I have no idea why he would even try to convince this douchebag to stay. This has to be the owner not wanting to let go

I agree - why tell him anything. At this point he wants out, it won't change his mind.

Hennigan can not fix this this overnight - and anyone who thinks otherwise is going to be highly disappointed.
