I swear you're either BMP's bestfriend or this is BMP on another account just to back himself up. You always say the same stuff he does. Tell us something new bro. Keep it on the same thread too.

Then why contribute to making it unbearable now??

Because, I can't help myself when I see people blindly wanting players based mainly off of hype with little to no facts.

I'm not BadMoFoPimps's best friend-I just lean towards agreeing with Pimps' viewpoint on the Exum/Smart discussion.
One thing I notice, and perhaps this is nothing for us to worry about, is that Exum does not appear to be "cut" and toned....his arms appear soft with no muscular definition. Smart, on the other hand, is a muscular beast. :o

Wondering if anyone else has noticed this...look at Exum at his his Combine photos. Looks like just a tall boy??

Is he the next superstar thoroughbred?? Again, this is just my thoughts, not sure if it is significant.

to be fair though the regular people like us have little to no facts about Exum but i doubt the teams that are very interested in him doesn't have quite a bit of information. I'm sure that most teams at the top already know what kind of prospect he is with various indicators like......Skills/playstyle/measurables/BBIQ i'm pretty sure they know what he can do, the question is CAN he do it on the NBA level?

Even though we don't have enough info on Exum as a person who has watched a lot of basketball like me, like most of us here. Isn't it safe to say that we can form an opinion on his playstyle from the limited info that we do have? well if so then the only thing left to quantify is if he can do what he has done on the high school level if he can do it on the highest level. Level of competition for a big time prospect like him doesn't really matter all that much at this point. Talent is talent but the question is will that talent shine though on the NBA stage? Given it's a roll of the dice but you can more or less say the same about every other prospect in this draft can't we?

That doesn't explain the MISINFORMATION and innuendo you are spreading about Exum.

to be fair Smart is a year older, but yes physically Smart is way more developed. But this does not mean that Exum will have an 18 yr old boy body for long - and that's where alot of the upside difference exists...Smart looks like he physically matured early for his age and Exum looks like he's still in his young man stage.

With your logic, Sonics shouldn't have drafted Durant because he's tall and skinny, and couldn't lift 135 even once. Or Timberwolves should've stayed clear of the PF Kevin Love and his flubby arms.

C'mon man, just stop.

Has Exum worked out for any teams?

I know right? Dude already looks shredded from a year ago. Let's not forget, this guy wasn't exactly of the Karl Malone physique either, but he made things happen. The point is, good players take what the defense gives them. Great players take whatever they want.

Bensational wrote:dude, you're just making stuff up. point blank.

- publicly stated he wants to play in Orlando, too. Jabari and Embiid have said they'd love to play in LA, but i haven't heard either say they'd like to play in Orlando. Smart hasn't even said where he wants to play. better pass on those mofos.
- he has the same agent as Harden and Drummond and countless other players...
- talks about modelling his game on Rose's game, too. is he going to Chicago now?
- where are the other prospects training? does that mean that's where they exclusively want to play, or is it just where they are based?
- goes to Lakers games and meets players... couldn't be a perk of having an NBA agent, could it?
- and he has actually declared to go to the combine, so that's just an outright lie.

i know the rule is to attack the post and not the poster, but you keep posting the same BS time and time again and it's all riddled with holes and lies.

Some of you are reaching really hard to hate on Exum. It's cool if you like Smart. I do too. But, your criticisms (not toned, no word of a workout 3 weeks away from the draft) for Exum are just ignorant now. Hate on him for his J, his vertical, even his unknown commodity. The other stuff is just silly.

IF we draft Dante, one thing that I would absolutely love to see is what Penny Hardaway did to those smaller point guards which was abuse them in the post. In this video below we see that Penny wasn't a premier post-up player, but he used his height as an advantage. I believe the avg. height for a pg in the NBA is about 6-2. At 6-6 and with the wingspan that he has, Dante could definitely take advantage of that. I am NOT comparing Dante to Anfernee at all, I'm just saying, if he works hard enough, he could add this to his game.
