Sending Jonathan Isaac, Okeke, &11 for Simons & 23 seems super interesting.

Im not a Magic, Raptors or Blazers fan but my idea is

OG, 11 and 13 to Portland

Isaac and 3 to Toronto

Simons and 23 to Orlando

Not Isaac, but Harris. We need defense in the front court and it doesnt hurt to give Isaac one more year to see if he can do anything.
Also need to find a new home for Cole Anthony since there wouldnt be enough minutes for Cole, Suggs, Fultz and Simons.

I'm very down on Black. It would boggle my mind why we took him over the likes of SGA and Haliburton who were both way more surefire and late lottery.

Wanting to draft for Doncic ahead of the draft I get because he's top 3 pick and maybe it was "impossible", but the other two..

And this is also evidence that us here are not idiots. I know wanting to trade for SGA, Haliburton, Doncic ahead of their drafts sounds like we want to unrealistically trade into a draft pick every summer, but I have not been trying to trade into a pick/player for the past three years in a row and 4 of the past 5 iirc.

It would suck if Fultz or Suggs lost a single minute to Black.

Couldn't crack 4 APG in highschool. He's not even a real point guard.

Interesting facts about Black is he was a star WR in football at his high school. He was also born in Germany, and that's his first language.

Again…..We ranked towards the bottom in 3PA and 3PT percentage. If our go to scorer is going to be PB in iso and on the elbows then we need to get serious about adding… 3PT SHOOTING. Not a very poor man’s Giddey…. I GUESS if Asur has the means to become a respectable shooter then I’d be ok with him at 6 but I’m hoping for Hendricks and Grady. There are flaws but there’s nothing wrong with our PG rotation outside of a few people wanting change for the hell of like this board does every three years.

IDGAF about his fro and ability speak German.

I agree with you about our dire need for 3 pt shooting. Not sure why you wouldn’t consider it valuable from more than one of the guard spots. One guy on the perimeter is guardable, two (or more) is like compound interest when the ball starts swinging around, finding open guys who aren’t reluctant to shoot open shots worth 50% more than mid-ranges.

I don't know anything about Black but I follow the Longhorns and a bunch of Texans seem to think that Black could go on to be one of the best players in the 2023 draft within three years or so.

Longhorns & Razorbacks don't play anymore due to conferences but back in the day, they were hardcore rivals.

Terrence Oglesby seems to be sold on him and was really high on Paolo being the best player last year.

I’m all in on Cam or Black at 6. Cam being the better fit, Black being the BPA IMO.

He grades extremely well statistically, and a lot of people do have him as one of the best prospects in the draft. Lots of interesting options.

In this modern NBA we are in right now, unless Black develops an abover average 3pt shooting percentage, then that dream of being the best of the 23 draft is just that.. a dream.

I heard a couple things about Hendricks earlier in the year around his high drive and willingness to live and grow from a 4th or 5th option that were really nice. He got a comp to our JI from one or two media types, and I was thinking it in the back of my mind a little too (in my limited tape watching so far).

If the FO is not optimistic with JI's health anymore, I'd wonder about grabbing Hendricks at 6 and now worry less and be more patient with JI’s health. And then since I really like Hawkins or Dick, maybe do a very small trade around #11 with two 2nd's for #10 or #9.

I think Black will get better shooting. He's still young, the same age as Scoot. I think there is a possibility he could end up better than Scoot. He's possibly the best defender in the draft.
