We're in deep doo doo if Suggs doesn't play one of the b2b games and Tyus starts.

He was very good tonight, don’t know what people saw that indicated he had a bad game. He fed Franz and buoyed our offense.

He’s going to get beat defensively, that’s nothing new.

The two guys who were bad tonight were Isaac and AB.

It’s opening night, Miami hit a lot of tough shots. We made defensive mistakes we can clean up. We still won. Next game.

-17 in a 4 point win.... Maybe it's an eye test thing, got to re-watch the game.... Of what I saw he wasn't good

Agreed.... about this being only a first game.... but he was not very good tonight... especially compared to Black. -17+/- vs +13 +/-?

but yeah... Isaac did not look great either.

We're currently 7th in offense and 5th in defense out of the 14 teams that have played. I'd take that for the season.

Great start to the season! It was a gritty fight but able to pull it out at the end and put on the clamps. Very sloppy play which is expected at the start. Defense is slow a step and guys still getting to know their assignments.

Man im so happy yo habe Suggs back! HE is just a game-changer on so many levels. The heart and soul of this team. Please stay healthy.

I cant believe we got desmond bane. What a perfect fit and stud of a combo guard. Lit does everything better then KCP. Memphis can have all those picks. Bane is going to unlock another dimension to franz and paolo.

Tyus experiment is going to be short. I can see why PHX fans wanted to get rid of him. Putrid defensive effort and when his shot doesnt fall, he is basically unplayable. Idk how much Mosley is going to defend playing him over Jase is he continues this.

Good game, but my god. AB was an absolutely black hole tonight, 23 minutes as being lead ball handler, and i don't think I saw him create one play by breaking down the defense. Jase is supposed to be a shooting guard, and he looks like Magic Johnson compared to what AB is doing out there. Sad because I thought third year AB could handle some pressure, and Tyus got put in the corner.

Only he wasn't the lead ballhandler when he was out there. Did you watch the game? Black has a +16.9 net rating after 1 game.

Overall great game by the big 4. Paolo started off slow, but put his head down. Franz lit up the first Half. I love what Bane brings, he barely holds the ball, he is either passing, driving, shooting all within a few seconds of getting the ball. We have needed a third option like him.

And man, have I missed Suggs. The dude just makes winning plays. That steal to bring the game to 1, and then that charge with 3 minutes left, completely turned the game around.

Wendel was playing some bully ball which is nice.

I would say I am most hyped about Tristan. It's his second year and he is already playing like a vet. He reminds me of early Franz, but getting less opportunities. I could easily see him being a 15-16ppg game guy that can knock down shots, make very little mistakes and has a drive game (and his Euro is a lot like Franz)

He probably ran 10+ pick and rolls tonight that turned into absolutely nothing.

You’re joking right?

Terrible on D. Couldn’t hit a shot and everything else was an even keel mediocre.

Tyus has time to show more but tonight was not good.

How was Justise Winslow -- I mean, Anthony Black tonight?

E: Never mind.

Not stated much but Suggs is showing signs of being able to control the tempo. He is playing more controlled with the ball in his hands. Hopefully this continues and improve more.

He doesn’t play with just one turbo gear the whole game. Love it.

Glad we got the win. What was with that line up in the beginning of the 4th? Tyus, AB, Franz, Tristan and Goga ? Coach shouldn't run that line up anymore maybe it was just Tyus making it funky

Return to Orlando Magic
