The Rockets will soon have the space to absorb Orlando's Dwight Howard, Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu, Chris Duhon and Epcot Center.

So... basically Dwight is going to play for the Orlando Magic.
In Houston.

3. Shabazz Muhammad, UCLA
4. Kyle Anderson, UCLA
5. Isaiah Austin, Baylor

not to mention it's REALLY early to speculate on this. How about we let the college boys play a game or two first?

Life long Magic fan who has read this site for years but finally signed up. I like the Rockets deal the best for many different reasons. First we would be getting major cap relief the best group of young players w small or expiring contracts. We would also be getting the best possible draft picks out of the proposed deals we have heard so far. I like Bynum and know he is the best player being offered for Dwight but if its true he doesnt wanna be here i dont want to go thru this all again next year.

In the Rockets deal I'd like,

PG Toney Douglas
SG Kevin Martin (Can be traded later)
SG Jeremy Lamb
SF Terrance Jones
Toronto pick
Dallas pick

for

D12
J Rich
Hedo

Sort of. But they'd basically have no one else under contract other than Donatas. So it'd be like the Magic without JJ Redick, Jameer, and BBD's contracts on the books. They'll have around 15 mil to spend on free agents and their exemptions.

Can someone with knowledge of Houston rooks share their opinions? I don't follow college ball at all.

Houston trade will take at least 3 more days from Friday as Rockets have bids in on Asik and Lin that will need to be matched by their original ball clubs.

Would Houston do this if they didn't have a commitment from Henny on a Howard deal? What other reason would Houston amnesty Scola other then this trade? Just wondering if we are missing any other possibility. Would they amnesty Scola without Henny's assurance?

Mis-quote from Denton.

Magic GM Rob Hennigan really said 'DIENER is imminent'.

Changes that equation just a bit:)

Welcome Turbo. I have been hoping for a Houston deal going back to the draft.

K.C Johnson ‏@KCJHoop

Sounds like Houston's plan is to sign Asik, Lin to offer sheets Friday or Saturday. When that happens, the 3-day clock to match begins.
