Dwight's gonna be totally disengaged, even if he doesn't fake a back injury. Their pick, plus our pick, plus maybe TOR if they aren't as solid as I think they will be...makes for a fun draft next year.

And to all of you Hennigan apologists...i'd be right there with you if not for the Jameer signing. Straight garbage, that was. Badly shook my confidence in our new GM.

that will nver be offered.

Are the Rockets really gonna sit there with Dwight, Asik, AND D-Mo? I know one of them "could" play PF....but they are really honestly all centers at heart. That's why I'm not sure why a lot of people think it's super crazy that they would include D-Mo. If that's what lands them Dwight or Bynum, why on earth wouldn't they?? Not like this guy is some proven superstar....he was a late 1st round pick who hasn't played a game in the NBA right? Don't get me wrong, I like what I saw too and want him, but people act like it would be impossible to get him in a deal. I don't see:

D-Mo/KMart/Parsons/Lamb/picks

for Dwight/JRich/BBD or Duhon as crazy at all....

Why not? You all act like that's some INSANE package....it's not like those pieces are going to make HOU into a contender, but Dwight def can with pieces around him.

You REALLY think the Rockets will include LAMB, PARSONS, and DONUTS? really?

With what's going on, Orlando will be lucky to even sniff Donuts let alone get him as an offer. BTW Donuts is a PF at heart, not a center.

Best offer Orlando will get is Lamb+Tor pick. They should just settle for that.

I don't understand why people are making a big deal over the Jameer deal. Do you not understand how a rebuild works? Cap space isn't gonna be a concern for the next couple of years . We are gonna have a bunch of guys on rookie deals and a minimum cap level to maintain .

yes it is, because they dont HAVE to do the deal. Orlando has to make a deal or Dwight walks. Houston will keep all that they can to make their own team better. They arent going to take all our trash.

I would never offer that for a one year rental, but that really is not the case here. If HOU feels they are not making any headway with D12 by the deadline, they can always flip him to LA or take the NJ deal that we turned down. Houston is not taking a lot of risk here. And hey, I didn't even throw a bunch of bad contracts in my proposal :D

So Henny went to LA to meet with Dwight to build a relationship and wouldn't even tell him the name of the coach?

Ok so i'm suppose to believe that After Hennigan tried his "Campaign" speech he actually ASKED Dwight what he thought about a Houston Trade to which he said no to.....seriously? not sure i'm buying that...If Dwight Doesn't want to stay after i have said my piece then it's end of discussion....i'm not going to ask him what he thinks about trades....who cares what he thinks....we should be doing what's best for us not what's best for Dwight....it's just not logical looking at it from a Orlando standpoint....would make sense if that the info we're hearing now is being leaked by Dwight's camp.....

Orlando is not saying anything now because i believe Rob is going to address it when we announce our Coach....If there was any doubt that Dwight was going to stay until the deadline that is almost tossed out the window if the reports i'm hearing have any shred of truth to it....this is a sh tstorm turning into a sh t hurricane.....

No, this had to be Henny

Why would the FO send him off on a fool's quest to humiliate him?

I think the last thing they want to do is make their GM look like a incompetent beggar. Henny obviously thought he could do something

Best case scenario is we hear Bynum won't resign in LA.

we dont have a name, martins still needs to perform his own interviews, then devos, then back to henny, then back to martins, then back to devos, then all 3 of them get together and devos picks his choice

That sounds uber complex. I read reports we had finished phase 2 and were moving to the Devos meetings. No?

I think he's joking around.
