Could we interest you in a Shabazz Napier though?

If we couldn't find any better deal to move down, I would take a straight up Napier/11 for 8. I wouldn't give up any other pieces for Napier though.

You have yourself a deal. You aren't Vlade Divac are you?

Lol, that's last, last, last resort though. Again, this is under the assumption that Sabonis is our guy. I think he could be had at 11 still so if we were absolutely unable to get any other value out of it, I'd be "ok" with taking the flyer on Napier. We have horrid depth at PG anyway and I was actually a fan of his coming out of UConn.

Just depends on who is there at 8 really and who we want. Dunn/Hield/Murray 95% likely will be gone and it sounds like Sabonis might be our guy. If we're able to get literally anything else, I'd rather get Sabonis+PG than just Sabonis. If Curry doesn't resign and Collison faces an extended suspenison, we literally have 0 point guards.

Canada - Croatia
63 - 71
(26 - 24, 13 - 16, 17 - 20, 7 - 11)

still ongoing...
all I managed to find is a score list (didn't try really hard)

We wouldn't do you that dirty. If Bender or Chriss are somehow there, you will get a lot more in return.

From what I can tell, it looks like Mario is starting the plays.

Right and I just don't think they will be. I see Simmons, Ingram, Dunn, Hield, Murray, Chriss, Bender as the top 7 (3-7 in who knows what order). I'm not high on Jaylen Brown at all which is why I hope we just trade down. What would you think of the Fournier S+T of Fournier/11 for Koufos/Ben/8? Fournier is the type of guy we could use and getting Sabonis makes KK expendable.

I'm not sure you can sign and trade RFAs right now.

Canada - Croatia
70 - 78
final
(26 - 24, 13 - 16, 17 - 20, 14 - 18)

guys in chat said Mario scored about a dozen. I only caught last few min and steam was low quality. Couldn't really comment on Mario's performance other than he played as PG at that point...

Mario had 13p 6r 3a 1stl in 24 minutes on the court.

As far as I've seen, he played some PG and executed p'n'r and pick'n'pop really good. He should have had like 8+ assists if his teammates hadn't missed easy buckets.

Nice to see fuller stat-lines, I really think he should be 500% more involved in the offense this year.

Box score for Hezonja:
25:00 minutes, 5/11 FG, 1/5 3PFG, 2/2 FT, 6 RB, 2 assists, 2 steals, 0 TO, 3 fouls. 13 points.

His +/- is +15. Next best player on Croatian team has +8 (Bogdanovic). Croatia won 78-70.

Another interesting thing is that Croatian coach seems to be trying out Hezonja at 1. Hezonja played parts of the game at 1. In the training Mario is playing 1 on offense, while Bogdanovic takes over defending the 1 in defense. Perhaps this is an option for Vogel to play Mario alongside Fournier when Payton is resting.

Hezonja at PG is only intruiging if he tightens his handle, other than that i'd say his vision is on par with payton's

Good thing is you can improve handle and can't improve vision
