They can pick who they want. I'd push Fournier and Isaac, but i'm sure the fo would prefer to get rid of AG. It would be interesting to see offers around the league if Beal became available. Idk if we'd have the juice to get him really.

Beal makes 25 mil... it’ll be nearly impossible to formulate a trade that also takes back Mahinmi too.
AG, Ross, Vuc and a 1st? I would pass on that

Realistically a deal for Beal would probably be based around Isaac and a future pick and finding some way take back Mahinmi. And that’s just to get Washington interested. Beal’s an electric scorer and he’s only 25

Ugh, and another negative for anyone wanting Wall, check what i saw on another board. yeesh! He must really like DC and meant to stay there.

I just found out that Wall has a trade kicker in his contract that would have him earning $54 million in 2022-2023 if he was traded to another team.

Re: Official Speculation Thread ‘18-19’: XIX: Rise of the BIG
It feels like this is game 519 of the longest season in history yet we just started two weeks ago. So predictable. 100 players and 5 coaching staffs come and gone and we are the exact same shitpot we were in 7 years ago. How is it possible in that time not to acquire a player that can change this?

Re: Official Speculation Thread ‘18-19’: XIX: Rise of the BIG
I did not want bring Wall into potential trade and went with Beal because his deal is easier to absorbe.
I don't see reason why would Magic be too reluctant to deal Isac for proven allstar. He is locked on long term deal, productive, cures Magic scoring hole and would mean that Gordon can go back at PF that he plays better anyway.
I'm also not sure that Isaac as asset will be any more valuable today, with lot of benefits of a doubt, than later. I just don't see anything in his offense that will ever make him anything more than 3 and D role player on 12-13 ppg when he peaks. If that.

We cling to what hope we (might) have...you are correct, if you can get a Beal type for an Isaac prospect, you've got to do it...I'm guilty too of calling guys untouchable just because they might be the thing we've done right over the last six years. I'm a big fan of Isaac, hopeful for Bamba, supportive of AG but...I'd love to see somebody in a Magic uniform DOING what we hope one of our guys might do someday. Your other post (somewhere) about shot-makers being the thing that matters most nowadays is true. I've been an optimistic supporter of our FO forever...but, sometime, some way, players have to put the ball in the basket - night after night after night. Beal can do that, McCollum can do that, etc...you are right on about NOT building the supporting cast of role players first.

Id easily do it. Id give them the OKC first tho or a top 10-15 protected 2021 first. Beal is a seriously underrated player. If you want to talk about a potentially elite offensive talent to add next to Bamba and Isaac he'd probably be the perfect fit among the realistic options we could trade for/sign. Add a wing in next years draft and you have a scary core of players.
I would also do those but I'd much prefer to trade Evan instead of our expirings (Ross and Vuc) if possible. He'd contribute in Beal's role and we'd have a young star in Beal and cap space THIS offseason to add another who wants to run with him. We'd still have Bamba and one of our young PF's. Nice picture.

Only took 7 games for coach to start taking subtle jabs at the team and front office.

I don't see where you got that at all. Cliff just saying what is happening out there in that the offense barely moves without Vooch out there.

Clifford isn't wrong in what he's saying, but he also knew how this roster was going to look when he took the job too.
But again, he's not wrong. You can only survive with defense and energy for so long. Eventually you have to have guys on the floor that can score the ball and right now the Magic only have one guy who is capable of scoring consistently.
Address the PG and SG slots this summer with scorers and you can totally thrive with an Isaac/Bamba front court.

How about this three team trade that will never happen.
Charlotte receives Jimmy Butler, DJ Augustin
Charlotte trades Kemba Walker, Jeremy Lamb
Minnesota recieves Nikola Vucevic, Jeremy Lamb, Evan Fournier and Orlando 2019 1st round
Minnesota trades Jimmy Butler, Gorgui Dieng
Orlando trades Evan Fournier, DJ Augustin, Nikola Vucevic, 2019 1st round pick

Well, if you guys think we are terrible on offense, you'd be right.
Currently we are dead last in the entire league in:
-offensive efficiency (0.972)
-scoring (100.6 PPG)
-1st half scoring (48.6 points)
-FG% (41%)
-effective FG% (46.5%)
Oh and we're only the 3rd worst team in 3pt%, so we got that going for us.

Any interest in Reggie Jackson (17M per season owed through 19-20) straight up for Evan Fournier (17M per season owed through 20-21)?

I'm just not touching Wall at that price.
He's set to make 37.8M, 40.8M, 43.8M and 46.8M in the next four seasons AFTER this one and that doesn't include his 15% trade kicker either.
Factor that the kicker (which he could waive, but why would he?) and he's at 43.47M, 46.92M, 50.37M, 53.82M. Just can't do it at that price unless it was a full blown cap dump.

Trading for a high priced established point guard isn’t going to work. This team has to acquire young unproven talent to grow with Bamba and Isaac. There isn’t enough value or time to acquire a Wall/Kemba/etc.
