Certainly a lot of interesting names on the first team list at the bottom.. even the MVPs are interesting but shows how much of a mirage it can be.

Cam is perfect player in a summer league environment, where he more or less is the best player and there isn't really anybody else to feed....but how "saucy" is he going to look when he's the low man on the totem pole? plus why do people care that much anyway? To be honest his situation might be a bit tough, too many cooks in the kitchen for someone with an alpha playstyle without playmaking

Magic trade Fultz to the Bucks in this scenario. I love it for Orlando.

I would do this trade so quick I'd end up getting whiplash

2 things:
1.) He isn’t running into defenders and falling on the floor. Much better balance.
2.) He is shooting quicker and without hesitation. I’ll take it.

Glad he’s getting 5v5 work in over the summer.

These runs mean nothing but good to see him out there.

It's always three things with Suggs though which is playing slower, shooting better (not even elite, just better), cutting down on TOs.

There is a great player not far away there, even if he maxes out as less than an all-star.

Hot take

Like in the Franz s draft, Jett will be better than the other magic player drafted before him

Jett the Orlando magic Booker?
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda
P5, JI, Panda, Moe
Wcj, Goga, Moe

I there is a good chance of this. Howard has a clear role in the NBA. Right now for me, Black's upside is Fultz. Andf the Magic have the better version; so I am baffled by his addition. Heck: Black might be transitioned to a SG role to be the next Suggs; but then again on the redundancy.

The homer in me says both were the correct picks. Given how the draft played out though, I would have gone Hendricks at 6 and Dick at 11.

Rhetoric thought line: Keyonte George or Cam Whitmore have more chance to be the player of this draft over Black or Howard. I don't feel good about that.

If we had drafted our future SG at #6 and drafted our back up PG with #11, everybody here would have been really Happy.

What if

Black was that back up PG ? And Jett (Booker Lite) our Future starting SG?

By 2024

Fultz, black
Jett, suggs
Franz
Paolo, JI
Wcj

Nice core to build around

TBD : Cole, Harris, houstan, chuma
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda
P5, JI, Panda, Moe
Wcj, Goga, Moe

I don't think many would agree with this assessment of Black/Fultz.

Because realgm fans always over rate rookies, 2 yrs ago they were saying that suggs>>>>>fultz
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda

I doubt Black's play style is going to be close to Fultz. He's not disabled and can shoot threes, he's an impact off ball mover, he has a high free throw rate, he's much bigger, and he's an elite defensive prospect.

Black and Fultz aren't similar, but I am concerned that with Fultz, Harris, Suggs, Anthony, and now Black, someone here ain't going to be in the rotation.

Thing is though that Black doesn't have the athleticism or handle that Fultz has, so I can't give him that upside comp. MCW is more what I'm thinking. MCW won ROY so hey, not being a total hater today.

I would be anything that there will be better players that come out of this draft taken after Black. The homer in me is trying to enjoy Howard, but his athleticsm stinks.

That player will be Anthony. Suggs will get his own time at SG. Fultz will start at PG. With 10+ min left to split, and a shiny new Top 5 draft pick, Cole Anthony ain't getting his extension here. HIs pathway to playing time is with someone's injury.
