My only complaint tonight is Franz. At first glance it looks like a good game, but 26 points on 28 shots while being -8 (every other starter was at least +20) was pretty wild. He had his moments, but he was crazy going after AD all night.

Great win though. Hopefully we hand Luka an L in a few days.

That was a legit win. The Lakers are big and skilled. Most teams aren’t that big. I think this lineup with Goga is going to hold up.

It started in the Utah game to be honest. Putting the offense in Paolo’s hands unlocked a new level of focus and confidence for him. AB was an effortless replacement for Fultz/Harris if not an upgrade.

Now Goga comes out and holds his own against AD and gives us a legit big man in the paint. The guys just found a natural rhythm and complimented each other well.

We beat up on this Lakers team so bad they had to play zone almost the entire 2nd half and we still won comfortably and gassed their stars

Franz had a great game. He played with the second string more than any of the other starters.

That's true. Cole and Franz both stand out with negative +/-'s. That being said both did provide some timely buckets when we needed them, and Franz made some good plays on defense and on the boards.

Paolo is showing he has the potential to be a a stronger version of Grant Hill, and potentially a better shooter too.

Franz shooting 28 times and only getting to the line for 2 FT's is crazy.

Largely due to the floater he was taking, which he took atleast 8-10 of them and was intentionally avoiding contact with them. He has to go stronger to the paint
